Beautifully decorated cottage with great view. It was very clean and warm when we arrived. Easy access to store and restaurants. We loved our stay at the cottage.
Excellent Location for Inverness visit
Everything in the house was organized, updated and easy to use. There were stores close by, a great bar/dining within walking distance and walks on the beach were enjoyed. Easy drives to all the local stops on your tour trips. Would highly recommend.
Quiet cottage gem
We absolutely loved this cottage. It was central to all the locations we were visiting, cute shopping area that was very close. My hubby even played a round of golf.
We travel a lot using VRBO and this is one of our favorite properties. The cottage is super comfortable and is perfectly located so you can visit all the surrounding areas easily. My kids found a ton of sea glass/shells along the beach as a bonus. We definitely think this cottage is worth a try! Cheers from Texas.....
The property was just like advertised. Very lovely and clean. Some reviews seemed negative in regard to seeing an oil rig from the property. It did not bother us in the least. The view was still great and the rigs are unused so no tankers, etc. We were also told that they will be removed over time. We had a great stay and would highly recommend it as a great place to stay if in the Invergordon area.
'Oystercatcher Cottage' is located in a small village called Saltburn on the shores of the Cromarty Firth one mile north east of Invergordon on the B817. Nearby there are castles, distilleries, historical places of interest and beaches all within easy driving distance.
