What a treat!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in this lovely cottage for 4 days with our two children and two dogs. The owners were extremely friendly and accommodating to our needs, they offered us great advice about the local area with regard to our dogs and the cottage was just perfect for us. The beds were super comfy and everything that we could possibly need was available. Bearing in mind it was a house that lets dogs in, it was extremely clean and so beautifully decorated. It felt like a treat! The wood burner in the lounge gave a cosy feel in the evenings but the cottage on the whole was well heated throughout which we were definitely grateful for in a bitterly cold February visit. There was lots of exciting places to visit in the area although at this time of year, it is worth checking things are open as a few places are closed for winter.

We had such a wonderful visit and hope to return again in the future.

Fantastic location - lovely property

  • 5 of 5

What a view! Harlech castle backed by the bay. The hill is a challenge! But the location is great - and everything you need to be warm and cosy and feel home from home.

Charming cottage

  • 4 of 5

Well equipped and kempt cottage with a charming and welcoming atmosphere.

Feels like home away from home, the owners are very friendly and helpful.

A lot of information about destinations was provided. The parking is a real challenge 😀.

Owner's Response: We're so pleased that you enjoyed your stay and found our cottage welcoming. I find that reversing on to the parking space is the easiest method. We have had a guest parking their Range Rover on it, so there should be ample room for any vehicle. Best regards

Lovely property, very steep parking space

  • 4 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay here, the only issue was the parking space which is almost impossible to park on during wet weather due to the severe gradient of the road. We nearly lost our clutch on the first attempt...Our advice would be to park on the roads or in the car parks around the town.

Owner's Response: Hi We're really pleased that you enjoyed your stay. During wet weather please do try driving on to the parking space if needs be, I have a large family estate car and it fits on fine. If you're happy to use the nearby parking, there is path/short cut just up from the cottage, I'm happy to drop a map over to help with walking directions next time. Hope you can come back soon. Best regards

Location

Car: recommended

Harlech sports centre allows for many of these activities such as tennis, climbing wall, swimming etc, but if you prefer the outdoors then there are plenty of local places which cater for all of the sports and adventure activities.
