Mr Blue Skies is a bright & sunny re-styled first floor, two bedroom

waterfront apartment positioned directly on Torquay's colourful

harbourside and enjoying memorising nautical views through it's large

windows.

The apartment is approached through a secure gated entrance and up just

one flight of stairs leading up from the smart communal hallway, shared

only by the owner. The period ambience is cleverly retained within this

spacious and newly decorated interior. A holiday vibe can be felt the

moment you walk in as you're helplessly drawn to the floor to ceiling

sea view windows which feature in not just the lounge but both bedrooms

also.

The brand new kitchen is very well equipped with all mod cons - an

integrated dishwasher, washing machine, under counter fridge/freezer,

oven, ceramic hob & extractor hood. The dining room is just outside the

kitchen and is perfectly positioned in the centre of the apartment

which also enjoys the lovely sea views from the lounge windows.

The king-size master bedroom is at the opposite end of the apartment to

the 2nd bedroom and is exceptionally spacious. It enjoys a walk-in

wardrobe where you can keep your clothes and suitcases conveniently out

of view. The second bedroom is furnished with two 3' single divan beds,

a corner built in wardrobe, bedside tables, two cane chairs and more

wonderful harbour views!

The family bathroom has both a full length bath and a separate shower

cubicle, a toilet plus a fitted modern vanity unit with a sink with

lots of space to put your toiletries & make-up. There is also a

cloakroom toilet and sink just off the entrance corridor to the left of

the front door.

There is also a uniquely covered inner courtyard with a clever

retractable roof which provides a sunny enclosed space, also very safe

for children to quietly play.

Victoria Parade forms part of the lively waterfront, lined with

pavement cafés and bars with several of Torquay’s premier restaurants

in the immediate neighbourhood. It's perfectly placed for the Marina

which is within just a few minutes walking distance, the sea front

promenade and Torquay's beaches. A wide variety of shops can also be

found in the area with galleries, boutique Eve's and Hoopers department

stores. Tesco Metro is also within a 10 minute walk away up Fleet

Street, the main shopping precinct. Torquay train station is also very

close by and only a 7 minute taxi ride away! Why not think of leaving

your car at home and enjoy the many forms of transport that the local

area offers. For example, the Little Red Tourist Train, the many boat

excursions taken off the Marina quay, the South Devon Steam Railway

travelling from Paignton to Kingsbridge & then hopping on the passenger

ferry across to Dartmouth for the afternoon.

For sheer enjoyment of a seaside lifestyle, Torquay remains a popular

destination which its stunning coastline forming part of the South West

Coastal footpath, it has many Blue Flag beaches and sheltered sailing

waters, parks and gardens for enjoyment of outdoor activities.

Torquay's waterfront is the focus of life in the town. Here you'll find the palm-lined promenade, seafront gardens, a lively harbour and an international marina. The new Living Coasts attraction adds to the variety of the new waterfront and the illuminated bridge is a great backdrop to a relaxing evening drink. Yet within minutes of Torquay town centre there are beautiful beaches easily accessible by foot, road or sea. There is an abundance of pavement cafes, Torquay pubs, Torquay restaurants and nightlife in Torquay, good quality shops and a host of attractions to suit every interest.

Fantastic Flat a must to stay in

What a beautiful roomy modern flat and well equipped, we could not find fault with anything. The views were magnificent overlooking the harbour through floor to ceiling windows. Very central to everything, also an asset was the car parking permit where we left the car during the whole week. Adam the owner was great, very helpful and friendly. We would highly recommend it.
