Prospect Cottage is the perfect holiday retreat packed with period charm and modern additions to sleep up to six in comfort. Close to the heart of the village and harbour, Prospect Cottage is situated on the South West coastal path at ‘Sunny Corner’, Coverack. The coastal path is bordered by quaint cottages, tropical flowers and natural Cornish flora and fauna. There are breath taking sea views and the cottage is admired by artists and all who pass by. It has been privately owned by the same family for over forty years and after a major refurbishment is now available for the first time as a holiday let.
It is located in an ideal position for exploring Cornwall’s attractions and beaches and is an idyllic spot for enjoying the stunning views and soaking up the sunshine. Equally, it is an ideal winter destination as the cottage is well insulated, dry and warm all year round.
Porch, dining /living room, sitting/TV room, kitchen, utility room, cloakroom and WC, two double bedrooms and one twin bedroom, family bathroom and separate shower room.
The accommodation is arranged as follows:- Porch leading into large dining/living room with Inglenook fireplace and log burner. The sitting room seating five has a Smart TV, DVD player and electric log effect fire. Both these rooms have sea views. Fully fitted modern kitchen with cooker, hob, microwave, under counter fridge, separate freezer and dishwasher. Cloakroom with WC and hand basin. Large utility room ideal for hanging, storing and drying wetsuits etc, automatic washing machine, tumble dryer, drinks fridge and additional storage cupboards. Door to back passageway which leads to the side gate and pathway back up to the parking space.
Upstairs to a large landing with three bedrooms, one with a King size bed and one with a 4ft 6in double bed, both bedrooms have sea views. There is also a twin bedded room with 3ft single beds. Family bathroom with bath, hand basin, WC and heated towel rail. There is a separate shower room with a walk in shower cubicle and hand basin.
Outside :- At the front of the cottage is a paved patio area with garden furniture, a washing line and a gate onto the South West coastal path. There is a grassed area opposite the cottage and a private decked area at a lower level accessible via a gate with original irregular steps and a handrail. A BBQ is supplied.
The approach to Prospect Cottage is either along the coastal path at Sunny Corner, which takes you to the front of the cottage or from the parking area on School Hill where you can walk down an unmade lane, where at the bottom of the lane you will find Prospect Cottage on your right hand side.
Storage heating, bed linen, towels for personal use (but not beach towels), tea towels, a travel cot and high chair plus WiFi are all supplied free of charge. There will also be a basket of logs supplied. Further logs can be purchased locally.
A number of the electric sockets have USB ports for charging phones etc.
There is private parking for one car on School Hill and further free parking in Coverack itself.
