About the property

Spacious accommodation for 7 people, dogs welcome.

Our holiday home is situated in a very quiet part of Baiter Park. The harbour side is 3 minutes walk and Poole park with all its amenities is 5 minutes walk. Enjoy the boating, sailing, cycling, harbour boat trips, tennis, bowling, skating, children's play areas, arts centre, swimming pool and of course, the award winning Sandbanks beaches. The spectacular Jurassic coast is also very accessible. Our home has a large south facing patio at the back, a real sun trap. The ground floor has a large and light open plan sitting and dining room with TV (with freeview) and DVD player. The kitchen is fully fitted with gas hob and cooker, microwave, dishwasher, washer/drier and fridge freezer. On the first floor, there are 4 bedrooms. The large main bedroom has a king size bed and en-suite shower room. There are two further double bedrooms and a single room. There is also a family bathroom with shower-over bath. Bed linen is provided for all beds. There is a garage and off street parking.

We are very happy to consider short breaks in the low to mid season but please see below for prices. (Despite our best efforts with the website it is only able to calculate and present to you the pro rata rates - our apologies for this). Do call us if you have any questions.

We started by buying a wonderful holiday home in Poole with views of the harbour. This was quickly filled and we were having difficulty accommodating all the visitors who wanted to return so we decided to purchase another holiday home in the same area.

This one has been particularly popular because of its quiet location and sunny patio as well as being able to accommodate 7 people very comfortably.

What makes this house unique

It is in such a lovely location, quiet and peaceful and yet only a few minutes walk from the harbourside park and lots of local activities. Poole and the surrounding area has so much to offer holidaymakers young and older!

  • The bathrooms are fresh and modern. The main bedroom has an en-suite shower room, newly refurbished with a spacious enclosed power shower, toilet and sink. The famiy bathroom has a shower over bath, toilet and sink. There is also a toilet downstairs.

The second double room has a wooden sleigh bed and furniture to match.The third has a small double bed with fitted wardrobe space. The delightful single room also has a fitted wardrobe. All the pictures decorating the walls have been carefully chosen and most are original.

The property is in a quiet cul de sac, within 2 mins walk of Baiter Park and Poole Park. The property has a huge master bedroom and easily accommodated 5 adults. In the evening, it was a very pleasant walk along the seafront to Poole quayside, where there are plenty of places to eat. Brilliant!!

Home from home in a great location

Lovely house with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The rear garden was a delightful sun trap when the sun shone. Everything was in walking distance, supermarket, shopping centre, park and Poole Harbour, however the house is situated in a quiet cul de sac. Great base from which to explore Dorset. Penny and Mark couldn't be more helpful.

Lovely holiday home in a fantastic location

We've just returned from a weeks holiday at this lovely holiday home. It was spacious and very clean throughout. There was enough room for 6 of us and a toddler. The owners couldn't di enough to accommodate all our requests and were so helpful throughout. There's enough parking for 2 cars , plus the visitors parking just round the corner. Poole quay is a short walk as is the town centre. It's a great base for trips out to Sandbanks, Bournemouth and Swanage. I'd highly recommend this holiday home

Perfect Location

The house is situated in a perfect location to Poole, so very easy access to the Quay and many pubs and restaurants. The property was as described on the website and Penny was most helpful from my initial enquiry to booking and throughout. There are many places to visit in and around the area, so something for everyone. We were lucky with the weather, so always a bonus, but we all enjoyed our time in Poole and would visit again in the future.

Beautifully situated property in Poole Harbour

The property was just as described on the web-site. The kitchen is well maintained with plenty of crockery, cutlery, pots and pans, very suitable for a family of 6. The house is clean and well maintained and decorated tastefully. Penny visited us on Tuesday a lovely personal touch, and our deposit was refunded immediately we got back from our holiday. I would certainly recommend anyone to rent this property. The house is walking distance of the Quay, Old Town, Town Centre and supermarkets. We had a lovely holiday, many thanks.

Our holiday home is located close to Poole Quay, in a quiet harbour side park. Poole harbour with all its amenities and Poole park are only a short walk away. Sandbanks beaches are a 15 minute drive. The chain ferry leaves the Sandbanks peninsula every 20 minutes for Purbeck and its fabulous scenery and Jurassic coastline. Inland, the New Forest is also very accessible for a day trip. To the north, the market town of Ringwood and the city of Salisbury are easy to visit. To the west, there many picturesque Dorset villages.

Other Activities: ice skating, windsurfing, kayaking, harbour tours.

Refundable Damage Deposit £100

The security deposit of £100 is due within 5 days of making a booking. We will email confirmation of your booking with details of when the full and final payment is due. We will also send some more information about the house to you. We then hold the security deposit until after your departure, and, all being left clean and tidy in the house, we will arrange to return your deposit to you within two weeks of your departure - usually within a few days!
Please remember to bring your own personal towels.
There is an additional charge of £25 for one dog and £40 for two dogs per week.
Please check with us for the cost of stays shorter than 7 nights as we are not able to charge exactly pro rata.
