Spacious accommodation for 7 people, dogs welcome.

Our holiday home is situated in a very quiet part of Baiter Park. The harbour side is 3 minutes walk and Poole park with all its amenities is 5 minutes walk. Enjoy the boating, sailing, cycling, harbour boat trips, tennis, bowling, skating, children's play areas, arts centre, swimming pool and of course, the award winning Sandbanks beaches. The spectacular Jurassic coast is also very accessible. Our home has a large south facing patio at the back, a real sun trap. The ground floor has a large and light open plan sitting and dining room with TV (with freeview) and DVD player. The kitchen is fully fitted with gas hob and cooker, microwave, dishwasher, washer/drier and fridge freezer. On the first floor, there are 4 bedrooms. The large main bedroom has a king size bed and en-suite shower room. There are two further double bedrooms and a single room. There is also a family bathroom with shower-over bath. Bed linen is provided for all beds. There is a garage and off street parking.

We are very happy to consider short breaks in the low to mid season but please check with us on price as we charge slightly more than pro rata for this. (Unfortunately, the website only calculates pro rata)

About Mark and Penny Hockey

We started by buying a wonderful holiday home in Poole with views of the harbour. This was quickly filled and we were having difficulty accommodating all the visitors who wanted to return so we decided to purchase another holiday home in the same area.

This one has been particularly popular because of its quiet location and sunny patio as well as being able to accommodate 7 people very comfortably.

What makes this house unique

It is in such a lovely location, quiet and peaceful and yet only a few minutes walk from the harbourside park and lots of local activities. Poole and the surrounding area has so much to offer holidaymakers young and older!

Beautifully situated property in Poole Harbour

The property was just as described on the web-site. The kitchen is well maintained with plenty of crockery, cutlery, pots and pans, very suitable for a family of 6. The house is clean and well maintained and decorated tastefully. Penny visited us on Tuesday a lovely personal touch, and our deposit was refunded immediately we got back from our holiday. I would certainly recommend anyone to rent this property. The house is walking distance of the Quay, Old Town, Town Centre and supermarkets. We had a lovely holiday, many thanks.

Lovely house in great location

The house is in a quiet housing estate a short walk from Poole park, the harbour and Poole centre. It was clean and well equipped for a holiday rental. It is also easy to get out of Poole if you wish toy travel further afield. The owners were very helpful from the initial enquiry. We would definitely stay here again.

from the outside it looks small walk in and it is a Tardis 4 good size bedrooms 1 is ensuite fantastic walk in shower

if you have a dog and like walking there are 2 parks Baiter & Poole no more than 5min to 10 min if u fit not even that. No ups and downs level all the way if u have trouble walking plenty of benches to sit on shopping and town centre within easy reach.

or if you wish to tour around a ideal base u will not be disappointed

Very nice house in excellent location

We enjoyed a long weekend here with the family. Poole quay, the park and the old town are all within a nice ten minute walk.

The property itself was very nice and clean and very spacious in particular the good sized bedrooms. ( there were 5 adults and 2 toddlers),with a large and secure patio area to the rear.

The owners seem very helpful and approachable and responded very quickly to all correspondence right from initial booking queries through to the end of our stay.

Peacefull

Very quiet no through traffic you could not even here the train going past. The house is well kept. Not far from ALDI/ASDA, and all the amenities around the Poole Park/Poole harbour areas.

Our holiday home is located close to Poole Quay, in a quiet harbour side park. Poole harbour with all its amenities and Poole park are only a short walk away. Sandbanks beaches are a 15 minute drive. The chain ferry leaves the Sandbanks peninsula every 20 minutes for Purbeck and its fabulous scenery and Jurassic coastline. Inland, the New Forest is also very accessible for a day trip. To the north, the market town of Ringwood and the city of Salisbury are easy to visit. To the west, there many picturesque Dorset villages.

Other Activities: ice skating, windsurfing, kayaking, harbour tours.

The security deposit of £100 is due within 5 days of making a booking. We will email confirmation of your booking with details of when the full and final payment is due. We will also send some more information about the house to you. We then hold the security deposit until after your departure, and, all being left clean and tidy in the house, we will arrange to return your deposit to you within two weeks of your departure - usually within a few days!
Please remember to bring your own personal towels.
There is an additional charge of £25 for one dog and £40 for two dogs per week.
Please check with us for the cost of stays shorter than 7 nights as we are not able to charge exactly pro rata.
