About Tina Boyt

My love for the water has expanded my opportunity to offer this beautiful area to others. Once I had purchased this property I felt as if I had to share this magical place with others.

Tina Boyt purchased this house in 2007

Why Tina Boyt chose Weeki Wachee Gardens

This property is one of the most ideal and sought out areas along the Weeki Wachee River. The river is crystal clear with a sandy bottom, kayaks and canoes for entertainment, plus the attraction of kayakers, canoers, and paddle boarders can be quite the entertainment in it's own. This property is located on a deadend street and in the middle of everything, to the left is Hospital Hole and 5.5 miles to the head of the river with plenty of places to get out and picnic or swim along the way or to the right only 3.5 miles to the Gulf of Mexico. Right up the road within walking distance is a restaurant which offers a wonderful way to have lunch overlooking the river, The natural elements from across the property of the ospreys, ducks, turtles, owls, and of course the manatees all add that excitement of animals in their natural surroundings.

What makes this house unique

Along with the stunning water and perfect location, it offers a fire pit for late night romance or family fun with s'mores. It's always a nice relaxing moment to stroll to the dock and sit back in the swing with cup of coffee and just watch the water flow, nature, or just the entertainment of the people and the river. The entire floor to ceiling glass living room offers a 180 degree view of the river (just 30 feet away)and also from the second story bedroom as well. A luxurious site to wake up to, pull back the curtains and see the beauty of it all.

Where's the Potty?

  • 5 of 5

This is a great place to have on the river. Lots of canoe and boat traffic to watch and visit with. Neighbors on both sides of the house are awesome and helpful to us. We were even invited to go on a pontoon boat ride! The owner Tina is very accommodating with everything needed, and answered all our questions within an hour. Kitchen is equipped with everything you could possibly need for your stay - Except there was no dishwasher - which isn't a problem for us because I don't use them. All the water toys you could possibly use outside - along with safety gear for everyone. The river water was clear and clean - we were a little disappointed that our weather didn't cooperate during our stay - not much sun out - but the kids played in the rain anyway.

My only negative would be that there is no bathroom in the master bedroom. I was so looking forward to staying in the all glass master bedroom overlooking the water, but there's no restroom in there. The 1/2 bathroom upstairs is in the queen bedroom - so we had to sleep in the little room. I also wanted to see what the sleep number bed was like...... but that's in the master bedroom too. At shower time, you just have to get in line as there's only 1 place to take a bath - but we worked that out too.

One other noticeable - there's no dinning room table or chairs? There's 2 living rooms, but no dining area - except for 2 barstools in the kitchen window......

I don't like my family eating on the furniture - and we couldn't eat outdoors because of the rain.

Bring your fishing gear..... there's fresh and saltwater fish everywhere - Bass, Mullet, and blue crabs too!! We would certainly stay at this house on the river again.

Cute home on the main river!

  • 5 of 5

This is our second time staying at this house and we absolutely love it! We would not stay in any other house on the river. Has an amazing view of the main river from the living room and bedroom! There were plenty of kyaks to take on the river and games to keep everyone entertained. The neighbors are great as well! We will definitely be back again next year!! We do wish it had more room for garbage.

Perfect house and perfect location!

  • 5 of 5

This was our 6th year staying on weeki wachee river but first time renting this home. We needed a bigger house since our two teens wanted to each bring a friend. This house was perfect. It is stocked with everything you need and more. The kids loved having the use of all the kayaks and we played games each night that were provided at the house. The location is beautiful and on the main river, not a canal. This is very important to us. The views from the downstairs and upstairs windows are amazing. We saw lots of manatees and fish each day. We also caught blue claw crabs right off the dock. Tina was great to work with and got back to me within minutes of any questions. We are so thankful for our time at her river house. I would not hesitate to stay again. As others have mentioned, the neighbors are very friendly too.
