About the property

The house is a wonderful period country property set in arguably one of the best locations in the area at the end of a no-through road accessed only by horses, bicycles and walkers. It offers beautiful family accommodation with reception rooms including a stunning double height galleried dining room and a bright airy conservatory overlooking the gardens and Edwardian fish pool. The property has been renovated by the current owners to a high standard, blending the character of the property with the requirements of modern living.

The kitchen is the centre of the household with its oak beams, four oven Aga and flagstone floor making it a comfortable focus for family meals. The living room and dining room are perfect for entertaining with French doors opening out onto the stunning garden. Wood burning stoves provide added cosiness on colder nights. The dining room easily accommodates 18 for dinner. The orangery also has a wood burning stove and plenty of space for relaxing.

All of the bedrooms are spacious but the master suite is exceptionally large with triple aspect windows. Three of the four bedrooms on the first floor are en-suite and the 4 bedroom has a family bathroom next door. On the top floor is a further large ensuite bedroom and an open plan living/sleeping place with 2 sofa beds. There is also a wet-room shower room on the ground floor plus separate cloak room and utility

For your entertainment you have exclusive use of the flood-lit tennis court which also has a practice wall at one end. There is also a half sized snooker table in the main house and an outdoor table tennis. The gardens include a formal rose garden with fountain, waterside gardens and plenty of lawn space. There is stunning al fresco dining area - with roof- plus an outdoor kitchen with both gas fired and charcoal BBQs, fridga and sink, There is plenty of space for parking on the drive and covered parking for at least two cars.

Please note, in regards to allergies, the owners have a dog which lives at the property when they are in residence.

Ideally located if you are a keen golf player as there are many fist class courses nearby including Sunningdale, Wentworth. Equally, if you are a keen polo player or supporter, enjoy the Polo at nearby Smith Lawn in Windsor Great Park or Ascot Park, for walkers Virginia Waters is close by, and for the races, you are within 20 minutes of Royal Ascot Racecourse and just 10 miles from Windsor Racecourse who have some fabulous evening races! Legoland & Thorpe Park are nearby for entertaining the children too.

For visiting central London, or escaping to the country, Woking Station is just 4 miles away and trains run every 20 minutes.
