Brixham Quay 57 apartments consist of 2 identical apartments. Apartment 5 and apartment 7. They can be booked individually, or together. They are located opposite the old fish quay in the beautiful harbour of Brixham. They look out onto the "Golden Hind" museum ship and enjoy fabulous uninterrupted views of the inner harbour and out to sea. The apartments are fully self contained with individual front doors onto the quay. The water's edge is about 12 metres from the front door. The building is over 100 years old and is grade 2 listed. However, it underwent a year long refurbishment in 2014 and now offers excellent light and airy accommodation. From the front door, stairs lead up to the first floor. At the front is a lounge with white leather couches, 40 inch tv and that fabulous view from the window.
The landing leads into a good sized, very well appointed kitchen with an arch leading to a further dining area with seating for 6. The kitchen is finished in white, with black marble worktops. There is an electric hob, with extractor hood above, together with a wall mounted oven with built in microwave above. There is an integrated fridge and dishwasher and a stand alone washing machine and tumble dryer. There is also a kettle, toaster and a full set of cutlery and crockery. In fact everything necessary for a very easy and comfortable self catering holiday.
Upstairs on the second floor is the well appointed master bedroom, where you can lay in bed and enjoy the fabulous views. To the rear is a very comfortable single bedroom and next to this is a well appointed, modern bathroom with a bath with shower above. Further stairs take you to the second floor where there is a comfortable second double bedroom, which is within the eaves of the building and offers areas with limited headroom.
In Brixham, parking is very difficult and most apartments typically include a parking permit allowing you to use one of the council car parks, if you can find a space. Brixham Quay 57 apartments each comes with a private parking space, about 200 metres away, which is about the same as the car parks. So, when you arrive, you can unload outside and we will direct you to the private car park, which is for your exclusive use throughout your stay.
Brixham Quay 57 apartments are in the perfect position to enjoy Brixham and with private parking, you can make the most of the stunning beaches and points of interest which surround Brixham in glorious South Devon. As owners, we will do all we can to ensure you enjoy a relaxing and enjoyable holiday.
We hope we meet you soon

My wife Linda and I used to own 3 pubs/restaurants in Dartmouth and we lived there for 15 years. During that time I became Chairman of The Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta and I was a member of the RNLI Dartmouth lifeboat crew. We also owned a very large bar in Torquay. We now own and operate Quay 57 and a 7 bedroom coaching inn in Wiltshire. We have lived in South Devon for over 17 years. It is one of the most beautiful places in Europe and when the sun shines, I would argue it is THE best. My wife and I are always on hand, so if you need any help or advice, it will be our pleasure.
Owner purchased this Apartment in 2017
Why Owner chose Brixham Civil Parish
Brixham is a magical place. I first came here 46 years ago and I can still remember walking along the quay like it was yesterday. It is a traditional working fishing port and the whole town are fiercely proud of their heritage. Having said that, if you meet a local deckhand or the Lord Lieutenant of Devon, you will typically be met with a smiling face and a warm handshake. Brixham is a real community. We first saw the business about 6 months ago and we fell in love with the building, which is over 100 years old and the location, right opposite the historic fish quay, where the catches were landed for hundreds of years. Since we have been here, we have been made incredibly welcome and I'm sure that same welcome will be shown to you.
What makes this Apartment unique
We think the apartments are unique because of their location, right on the Quay. The views are stunning. There is private allocated parking for each apartment, a rarity around the harbour and the whole building underwent a year long refurbishment 3 years ago. Last but not least. The owners really care about their guests and will do all they can to ensure you have a great stay.

Fab location, clean , perfect for a weekend away out of season , very nice owners
View of the harbour was great & the Golden Hind ship, so many pubs & restaurants to enjoy. Lovely walks out to the Pier & Berry Head. Lovely cold ,dry weekend to get out & about, ticked all our boxes, we will be back
We are really delighted you had a great weekend. We hope we meet again soon.
We have just spent 5 nights in Brixham, the apartment is large and in a wonderful location, with the harbour literally outside the front door. We enjoyed lots of the restaurants especially Quay 57, downstairs and Rockfish. We had a wonderful walk up to Berry Head and a delicious cream tea in the guardsman cafe at the top of Berry Head. We enjoyed walks around the harbour and even spotted the seals! Jim and the staff in Quay 57 who had the keys were very helpful and friendly. We really had a very restful break. Thank you.
We are all absolutely delighted you enjoyed your stay with us and we hope to see you again soon. It was a pleasure meeting you.

Nice weekend - shame about the weather!
Very clean and tidy. Found the settees in the lounge uncomfortable but overall the property was good.
It was a pleasure meeting you. We agree with you re; the settees and we have new ones on order and due for delivery this month.
Apologies for the weather. Sometimes I think the UK needs a roof!
We hope we meet you again.
Spacious property with a central location and great views from most rooms
We had a great 4 day stay in mid February. Facilities were great cooking and place was clean and welcoming. Maybe a bit too noisy in peak season but off season location was perfect. A lovely view to the harbour!
Following your 11.20pm arrival, we weren't sure how you would be feeling. However, on reading your review, it would appear not to have impacted on your break. Linda and I are absolutely delighted you enjoyed your stay with us and we hope we get to meet again.
Excellent loc. Kitch, bath & bed fittings all good qual. Comf bed but DO READ REVIEWS
The location is excellent, adjacent to the harbour, with first class views from the living room and main bedroom. The ‘Hard fittings’ in the kitchen and bathroom are very good quality, although the utensils and range of cookware that a good quality let provides for self-caterers was lacking.
Welcome pack was not in evidence- although a few sachets of coffee/whitener/sugar/teabags and saucer side biscuits from the Bistro below were hidden in the tins on the worktop!
Bedding and towels were all fine,
On arrival the apartment was clean, although the kitchen and dining room floors were disappointingly ‘sticky’ underfoot.
The sofa in the lounge was sagging and uncomfortable, and the surface on the ‘Leather’ upholstery was worn to the underlying fabric in many places.
The information in the folder was out of date. The WiFi code was not as in the folder or the Homeaway/owners direct email – there were other discrepancies as well.
TV in lounge was fine. ‘Stereo’ in kitchen was unable to play any radio at all, and was miniscule (1985??) !!!!! This meant that the ‘Dining Room’ was very empty and silent and full of echoes- tiled floor, 4 walls, 1 table, 5 chairs, skylight and one ‘artwork’
The parking place was between 450 and 550 metres away depending on whether you followed the road route or the pedestrianised High Street. This was fine for us, but anybody with mobility issues or if the weather was really atrocious this could be a problem.
PS If the top shower head rail falls off the wall, don’t panic, observe that the top of the mounting bracket is already bent, offer it back up to the fitting, check the alignment and whack firmly.
Great location just a few steps away from the quayside.
2 min walk to Rockfish restaurant and within 5 min stroll to many others dining places.
Private parking space included. Very handy.
Very enjoyable 4 night break.
