The Stables are a lovely property set in the most fantastic location, with very friendly owners.
We had a great family stay, would highly recommend.
Wonderful weekend stay
Thank you to Lisa for the most lovely stay. Such beautiful stables in beautiful surroundings.
The personal touches were greatly received. We have come away feeling so relaxed and would definitely recommend!
Superb accommodation in an amazing location!
The Stables is set in a peaceful location, yet only a short drive from Bath. We had a very relaxing few days here. The large private decked area, hot tub and tranquil location make it ideal for this time of year. The wood burner means it would be equally appealing in colder weather. We truly felt we had escaped for a few days!
A wonderful find!!
Where do I start! everything was fantastic, the homemade cakes! the chocolates and wine, fresh flowers in every room for just a start. The place is stunning, kept beautifully, the exclusive use to the hot tub and tennis courts were fantastic, we certainly made good use of both. The recommended local walks and pubs served gorgeous food. Comfortable beds and so peaceful. We will be back!
We enjoyed a wonderful 4 nights. The barn is beautiful and really thoughtfully done. It is really above and beyond expectations. Stunning countryside and great pubs within a good walking distance. Tennis court and hot tub were brilliant. Kids, dog and adults equally enjoyed. Great hosts. Would definitely recommend.
We had a great time and loved the place, will definitely be going again
The Stables is situated in the beautiful village of North Stoke (once nicknamed the 'Secret Village). Surrounded by open unspoilt countryside and spectacular views of both Bath and Bristol. Set beside a Roman Road and on the Cotswold Way it boasts many fantastic walks - so dogs are always welcome.
Bath is a designated world heritage site. With its impressive grandeur and beautifully preserved Roman Baths and hot springs. With the Royal Crescent, Pump Rooms, Pultney Bridge, The Circus and Assembley Rooms this really is a historians dream! With its connections to Jane Austen and its quaint alleyways filled with designer boutiques and award winning bars and restaurants it can also be a very romantic city. The Thermal Bath Spa is a fairly new addition to Bath. Here you can enjoy the hot spring waters and relax in the roof top pool overlooking this beautiful city. Many visitors also enjoy the organised Ghost Walks around the city which take place in the evening for added atmosphere.
