The villa is located near Casteldaccia, 15 minutes from Palermo and 20 minutes from Cefalù, in a great location for touring Sicily.
The town, originally called Castel d'Accia, is located on the Tyrrhenian coast of the Sicilian island. The center is constituted by the Piazza Matrice on which the facades of the building of the town church and the Castle of the Duke of Salaparuta turn, as well as a small chapel called Chiesetta. On the coast in front was the Torre di Gallo, dating back to the 16th century and demolished at the beginning of the 20th century. Nearby are the so-called Villini, private buildings built in the early twentieth century in Art Nouveau, Neogothic and Eclectic style. The town planning of the town is irregular, characterized by narrow streets and typical Sicilian houses. It is the seat of the ancient and internationally appreciated Vini Corvo winery, as well as a renowned producer of Sicilian pastries (the ricotta cream is particularly popular) and buccellati.
