The house stands out for its light and exterior areas. There is a garden area at the entrance with garden furniture and umbrellas ideal for any meal. There is also a terrace overlooking the pool and communal garden with its table and 6 chairs. Upstairs coming out of the main room there is a large solarium.

It has two bedrooms and two bathrooms and the style of house is modern. The master bedroom is equipped with a double bed while the room below has a trundle bed for 2 people. In the living room there is a double sofa bed. Each room has a drawer cabinet and built-in wardrobes lined and finished with their yards and bars and clothes racks to hang clothes.

In the living room and main room there are air conditioning machines and also ceiling fans.

The kitchen is fully equipped to feel at home with crockery and cutlery for 6 people. The appliances in the house are the dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, ceramic hob, oven, toaster, coffee machine Dolce Gusto, kettle etc. The washing machine is in the solarium on the first floor. There is a Guest Book detailing everything you need to know about the operation of the appliances, the house and the area.

There is an iron, vacuum cleaner, ironing board and also hair dryer. Bed linen and towels are provided.

During the months of July and August the WIFI connection is included in the rent. In the other months there is an additional charge.

The house is within a private gated community with pool and well maintained community garden area. The complex has only 30 homes and most are foreign, which means that it is always very quiet, even in July and August. The surroundings are also wide avenues and is always quiet and bright. There are shopping and leisure areas nearby but not so close to cause no hassles or noises, ie a house to spend a quiet holiday.

Peace & Tranquility - exceeded our expectations

Photos of house were fabulous and we there's always the concern that they may be a bit dated, but as of Sept 2017 they were bang up to date and the house was even better than depicted.

HOUSE: entered via gate into a beautiful private front garden/patio area (not overlooked by anyone). Front door leads into a stunning open plan lounge/kitchen/dining room, which is modern with lots of character accessories to give a bit of quirkiness. Kitchen has all mod cons - great fridge/freezer, dishwasher and we were delighted with the Dulce Gusto coffee machine. Patio doors lead to a 2nd patio which has gate opening onto beautiful communal garden/pool area.

Also downstairs is a toilet/shower room & single bedroom (with guest bed) - this also opens onto the front garden.

Upstairs is main bathroom & a double bedroom, (with plenty of storage space). Bedroom & landing area both open onto another terrace, which gets sun most of day.

All windows have sliding shutters which keep the house cool - with temps in low 30s we didn't need to use aircon as there's a great airflow through the house.

House has great Wifi - TV just has Spanish channels (not a problem for us)

Early Sept the complex was very quiet - pool was fantastic in beautifully kept gardens - you could get a great workout it's that long (meant to measure - maybe 20M??). We had it to ourselves majority of time.

LOCATION: approx 2km from beach Aguamarina/Playa de la Glea, but this gives you a quieter area. House is under 10 mins slow stroll to a bar/restaurant complex (if you don't want to get into car & go further afield) and Aldi is also in that area. 5 mins in car takes you to Cabo Roig strip with all its bars/restaurants. A nice treat if craving "English food" was to walk up to White Rose Tea Rooms for an €8 afternoon tea (which would cost €20 at home).

HOSTS - Dealing with Alfredo & Farah was a pleasure - communication excellent and great handover at the house and lots of tips in folders in the house.

Summer Vacation in Cabo Roig

Situated in a quiet square with a shared garden and pool, the house has dining out areas both front and back. The lounge and open plan kitchen are both modern and stylish. It felt like home from home, as the house was clean with all the amenities we needed.

The beaches are a 5 min drive away and are clean with water inflatables for children and cafes serving tapas for adults. On the way stop off at Lucie's patisserie for breakfast and a cafe con leche. Los Angeles restaurant overlooks the marina whilst others overlook the beaches. Tennis courts can be found in nearby Dehasa de Campoamor. Water sports and a causeway for walking or cycling can be found at Mar Memor. The shopping centre is a 10 min drive away and has something for everyone - a large supermarket, shops such as Zara and Massimo Dutti, and leisure activities such as bowling and play zones.

A day trip to Cartagena is recommended to see the Roman archaelogy, harbour and local restaurants. Larger cities of Murcia or Alicante are a bit further away and offer a wide range of shops and restaurants.

Lovely stay, wonderful house

The house was clean, the facilities were great. There is a swimming pool, an indoor and outdoor dining area and the master bedroom is large. The kitchen is easy to get around and it has a coffee machine and the cooker is simple to use. It is easy to get to the beach and the restaurants and there are plenty of supermarkets nearby. It is not far from the highway that services both the Murcia and Alicante airports.

It is located near a large shopping center La Zenia Boulevard. In less than an hour by car there are cities of tourist interest like Catagenda, Murcia, Elche, Alicante and Orihuela. For beach lovers, there are the beaches of Mar Menor and Costa Blanca very close. To make trails are the natural parks of La Mata and Las Salinas de San Pedro to enjoy the birds and other native flora and fauna.
