Contemporary house with spectacular views.

  • 5 of 5

We had the pleasure of staying in this fantastic house during our recent trip to Skye. The house itself comes equipped with all mod cons, fantastic kitchen & bathrooms and the most amazing views over the Sound of Sleat. The house was immaculately clean and the service offered by the property managers was first class, nothing was too much trouble. Located in the picturesque village of Camus Cross, it provided the perfect location to both relax and explore the island. If you're planning a trip to Skye we would highly recommend this home. We will certainly return.

Camus Cross Holiday House

  • 5 of 5

We stayed there recently for 1 week and we had a great time. It is a really good, spacious and well laid out house. The views across the Sound of Sleat to Knoydart are pretty impressive.

From the initial enquiry to leaving the keys to come home the owner and the agent were both extremely helpful and professional.

We loved the house and look forward to returning in the near future.

Lovely house with spectacular views

  • 5 of 5

We were the first people to stay in this lovely new house which has been finished to a very high standard and has everything that you could need for a great holiday. The house is very peaceful and it is possible to walk down to the beach. The facilities in Isle Ornsay are not far away which again makes for a lovely walk in the evening. We recommend this house very highly and are planning a return trip as soon as we can get away.

Camus Cross
Car: necessary

The Upper Cottage at 29 Camus Cross is a brand-new house finished to a very high standard, with stunning views from the living-room and the kitchen/diner across the Sound of Sleat up Loch Hourn to Arnisdale.

Camus Cross is a small village next to Isle Ornsay in a quiet and secluded part of the Sleat peninsula. Sleat, known as 'The Garden of Skye', is the perfect base to stay in Southern Skye: ideal for walking, photography, boating and water-sports or just watching the wildlife. There is a large co-op in Broadford (10 miles) and a small but well-stocked grocer in Ardvasar (7 miles). Petrol is available at the Broadford Co-op and at the filling-station in Armadale. There are several good restaurants within a short drive: the Isle Ornsay Hotel (Hotel Eilean Iarmain) is five minutes away and slightly further afield is the Michelin-starred Kinloch Lodge.
