A rural escape offering easy access to many of Normandy's tourist attractions.
About Ian Brand
Having spent time in South Africa, Macau and Asia we got the 'bug' to move abroad again and with family in the UK decided on Normandy for our new adventure as it gave us a new lifestyle but easy contact with our children
Ian Brand purchased this House in 2015
Why Ian Brand chose Souleuvre-En-Bocage
Cecilia fell in love with it on our first visit. Ian took a little more persuading as there has been a lot of work to do and as you can imagine this is on going but we love the lifestyle, the people and the area we live in. Come and experience our 'rural escape'.
What makes this House unique
As we have seen from our guests over the past few years, some want a holiday to relax and chill, others want the opportunity to see the sights, and many a mixture of both. Some people are quite private and others like to chat and help out round the'farm'. We do our best to respect and respond to our guests needs.

A memorable trip to Normandie
Ian and Cecilia are wonderful hosts, helpful, friendly and very hospitable. The house is a comfortable 19th century farm house in a quaint village close to Bayeux, with beautiful views of the Normandie countryside. We look forward to returning to the house on a future trip!
Great rural setting close to Normandy sites
Cecilia and Ian provided a lovely house in a rural setting. Well-equipped clean gite in a hamlet with a very good bakery and close to grocery stores. With a car you can visit D-Day beaches, Granville, Rouen, Bessin for the scallops in season, Balleyroy Chateau for hot-air ballons in the summer, and only 2 1/2 hours from Paris. We enjoyed a beautiful September with our gracious hosts. We sat on the platform in the afternoons with tasty cider/wine to enjoy the views. Loved petting the sheep and listening to the hens and geese. Great place to spend some time in Normandy.
