Aa fantastic property offering luxurious accommodation in a sympathetically restored house with all modern amenities. Step into the entrance hall with natural stone floor tiles and immediately feel at home in this beautiful house. With five bedrooms, three luxury bath and shower rooms, this is an exceptional home and will provide superb accommodation for families and groups of friends. The house has a fabulous open plan kitchen and dining area which leads to the garden. The 40 feet kitchen dining room is ideal for family dining and includes a relaxing sofa with additional flat screen television, DVD player, iPod dock, CD player and DAB radio. The kitchen is exceptionally convenient for al fresco meals in the walled garden. The walled rear garden is a real sun trap and there is a patio area with Delabole flag stone floors, a wooden decking area, outside lighting as well as a grassed area making this a perfect garden to enjoy.
On arrival at Surfside after a very long journey it was so nice to see the welcome pack with tea coffee and even milk in the fridge, the house had every thing that you could want from a holiday home, the rooms were very well appointed with fantastic views, the family room off the kitchen was beautiful and became the main hub of the house, and all a short walk away from Crooklets beach, all in all a very relaxing stay in a stunning house in a very special place.
Really enjoyed our stay in this fabulous property. As other reviews state, it is only a short walk to a lovely beach with a great café and play areas for the kids.
The house itself is well appointed, with all the mod cons to make it a home from home experience.
During our stay I lost the diamond out of my engagement and was completely gutted! Upon leaving we asked the owners/cleaners to let us know if it was found. Unbelievably I received a call to say that they had found it upon cleaning the property. Nick couldn't have been more helpful in returning it and I am very grateful for it's safe return.
Fabulous house, fabulous owners, fabulous cleaners!
Would love to stay there again.
Stunning House with a brilliant location - Faultless
This was our third stay at this lovely property, it's becoming a real home from home.
The house is very comfortable and relaxing and we would have no hesitation to recommend it to anyone thinking of visiting Bude.
The house is very spacious, clean and well maintained. It also has good outdoor space including a large decked area, enclosed garden and double garage.
We had excellent service from Nick at Elitewest and will certainly be staying at Surfside again.
The place was immaculate and fitted out to a very high standard with heated floors and top of the range kitchen appliances and bathrooms. It was also the things like a tumble dryer, iron, a large number of glassware, crockery etc. which really did make it home from home.
The whole booking process was made easy thanks to Nick at Elite West Holidays who manages the property, and there were also some great suggestions of favourite restaurants and places to visit. Olive Tree on the canal was a personal favourite and sunset over Crooklets beach or Widemouth bay.
The house is in a great location, overlooking the golf course (great value at £20) with excellent beaches in walking distance. Town is the other side of the golf course so close enough but far enough.
We were 3 generations of the same family staying there ranging from 7 weeks to 70 years old and all managed to find things to do and due to the size of the house (it has 3 lounges) we all found space apart too! Whilst Bude is not the most picturesque town in Cornwall, it is the best base for a holiday as everything is in walking distance and you can visit other areas on a day trip. Would definitely recommend and use again.
We had a lovely family holiday in this property during May 2014. Nick from Elite West Holidays was so helpful in helping us find a property to suit our needs as a large family group.
The layout of the rooms is perfect with enough space for us all, a lovely bright fresh and modern house with great facilities which were of a high standard and very well maintained.
Perfect location within walking distance to the gorgeous Crooklets Beach which proved to be a hit with the older children who loved body boarding and surfing at every opportunity.
Bude town and all its lovely shops, cafes, bars and restaurants are within an comfortable walking distance making this the perfect location.
We loved this house so much we have re-booked again for next year and can't wait to return.
The service and attention to detail that Nick and his team put into your holiday is the best we have found in our 15+ years of holidaying as a family in Cornwall.
Bude has everything! As well as the N.T Coastline, its rolling countryside is an area of outstanding natural beauty.
Bude has become a centre for all things active, be it a 140 ft abseil down the magnificent cliffs, surfing the Atlantic breakers, kayaking, canoeing, fishing, mountain boarding or sailing.
Alternatively, laze the day away on miles of life guarded sandy beaches or bathing in Bude’s famous sea pool. Followed by a cream tea! All this and a host of wet weather attractions are within walking distance or a short drive from the house.
Meander from the sea lock along the canal’s flat tow paths, flanked by nature reserves-ideal for bird watchers, walkers, wheelchairs, buggies and bikes.
For History lovers, visit Bude Castle Heritage Centre, Stratton Battle ground, picturesque Clovelly harbour, or king Arthurs Tintagel, both within ½ an hour.
Plymouth National sea life centre, the Eden project, lost gardens of Heligan, Port Isaac, Padstow and more are all within a day trip
