Wonderful Stay

Karen was a wonderful host. From the time of booking she was willing to answer questions and was very flexible when I found I needed to change dates.

The flat was clean, spacious and comfortable.The location was convenient and beautiful.

We would love the opportunity to come back andvstay again.

A Brilliant Flat for a Family of Four!

We loved our stay here in this lovely London flat and it was absolutely perfect for us and our two kids. A bright beaming place with terrific touches everywhere we looked, we were also delighted by a kind welcome package of treats for both kids and adults that were so appreciated after an exceptionally long red-eye flight.

Having two bedrooms and two big bathrooms allowed us plenty of space for our week there, an important point for maintaining sanity with a family traveling together. We also enjoyed the splendid living room where we were able to watch British TV on a huge wall screen when winding down at night, along with a lot of CBeebies when one of our kids was sick.

Close to Queen's Park along with easy access to tube and rail stations, it's located in a great neighborhood with wonderful options to dine at and shops where you could pick up your own food if you wanted to cook in the kitchen.

We stayed in two places in our visit to England and this one was by far the best with the best possible host in Karen who did everything to make sure our family had an extraordinary stay. Thanks so much to Karen for giving our family such a singularly wonderful experience!

Highly recommend lovely new flat near beautiful Queen's Park!

This is a fairly new space in a nice, quiet residential neighborhood of London just around the corner from beautiful Queen's Park. It's situated a short walk to Chamberlayne Road and the village center of Kensal Rise and also Salusbury Road and the village center of Queen's Park. Both offer easy access to some excellent restaurants, pubs, cute shops, and public transportation. It has a private entrance at the bottom of the driveway with a lockable gate for extra security. We felt very safe in the flat and in the area.

The home is light and bright even though it is at "basement" level, nicely decorated in a contemporary, uncluttered style with two bedrooms, two very nice baths, and quite a large (for London) kitchen area. The projection TV was a big hit with the guys! The back patio is enclosed for the use of the flat. Beyond, you look out on a lovely green garden although access there is for the owners use. The property does back up to the train tracks, initially a concern for us, but is quite high above them. You don't see the tracks and the only sound we barely and rarely heard was a very soft "whoosh", no horns whatsoever. There is a happy rooster who lives in the next backyard so you might hear him welcoming the morning. We found it quite charming.

Karen is a helpful, welcoming host who provided a nice supply of breakfast basics for our arrival. There was also a very lovely gift, a surprise bottle of Prosecco, in the refrigerator to celebrate our grandson's Christening, the reason for our trip! The bathrooms were well supplied with plenty of toilet paper so, unlike other places we have stayed, you won't have to run out and buy more along with very nice toiletries. If you prefer a washcloth, remember to pack your own in a ziplock bag. I've found most European B&Bs and hotels don't provide them but there were plenty of nice bath and face towels.

The beds were very comfortable and the rooms spacious. Windows had built in shades for a good sleep environment. A door separated the sleeping rooms from the living area, perfect for those traveling with children or a mix of adults who like an earlier bedtime and those who like to stay up later. Wifi signal was consistently strong and reliable.

The only suggestions I would offer to add convenience would be the addition of a couple of small waste bins in the bathrooms and some kind of a shelf in the en suite shower to put soap and toiletry bottles on.

Would happily stay here again!
