This magnificent 4000- square foot barn conversion sits in three acres with spectacular views over surrounding countryside. Nestled on the edge of the New Forest National Park where you can see free roaming ponies, donkeys and cattle you can also enjoy off road walking, cycling and riding.

The spacious open plan design of the main living space makes it an ideal place for families and friends to gather together, whether for a family holiday or a special occasion. The kitchen is large and well equipped, perfect for an evening meal around the table with loved ones and friends. Built on a green oak frame this stylish holiday home has been finished to a high standard with great attention to detail offering comfort and endless space with many features throughout. The large windows framed by oak beams look out over green pastures and high vaulted ceilings give a feeling of light and space.

Hyde Barn offers the perfect balance between a secluded break and easy access to all the local attractions and amenities, with the quaint market town of Fordingbridge close by and the beautiful blue flag beaches of Bournemouth and Poole within easy reach.

The city of Salisbury is a twenty minute drive away with it's medieval cathedral and busy shopping area. There are many places of interest for the family to visit, including Marwell Zoological Park, Paultons Park and Beaulieu Motor Museum to name just a few.

There is a small local shop nearby and two lovely traditional pubs within easy walking distance.

Accommodation consists of:

Ground floor:

Spacious living room/dining room with large glass panel, countryside views, French doors and well equipped farmhouse-style kitchen area with electric range (for cooking). Steps to utility. Large family size room with additional single bed with pull-out-single bed (each for 1) TV and wooden floor. Fully tiled bathroom with separate shower cubicle and toilet.

First Floor:

Large sitting area on galleried landing. Large double bedroom with 5ft bed, large panel windows from floor to ceiling with countryside views, TV and fully tiles en-suite bathroom with separate shower cubicle and toilet. Large Family size room with 5ft bed, additional single bed with pull- out- single bed (each for 1), TV and fully tiled en-suite bathroom with over bath shower and toilet.

Second staircase to first floor:

Double bedroom with TV and sloping ceiling. Twin bedroom with TV and fully tiled en-suite shower room with toilet. Green oak beams throughout.

Spot on!

Hired for a family gathering of 13 people of varying ages, Hyde Barn hit the mark. It is spacious, well equipped and kept very clean. The beds are very comfortable, including the day beds for extra bodies. They understand that we all need a good night’s sleep! Location is excellent and we enjoyed walking out to the common and on to the forest. The pub is only a walk away too, which might tempt you too!? If I have to pick faults, then they would be picky and subjective. For me, I'd like a little more privacy from the en-suite bathrooms. There seems to be a trend for not putting ceilings on things, and it doesn't work for me. The garden area would be improved for dogs if the fencing was dog proofed. The dog never left the garden, but it would be less of a concern if she couldn't. As I say, neither were massive issues (One was the source of great humour…), but if you were looking for improvements, these would be my suggestions. We all enjoyed ourselves immensely and there was room for everyone. A great stay!
