Achill Island Bungalow, run down and dated
This bungalow is in a "complex" of about 10-12 units. Our unit had clearly seen better days! The kitchen was OK. The couches were sagging and more than worn out. The wall clock did not work. The washer/dryer needed some help to get operational. The "view" toward Keel is looking over 4-5 trash containers. Their is parking for each unit. We are a small family of three adults. Our needs are simple. However, for the price paid, I would not recommend this location. The on-site manager, Mary and her daughter were wonderful, but they have no control of how run down these unit is. We had stayed on Achill two years before this trip and had a 100% nicer rental for the same price point and in a far better location.
Prices for 2018 are based on rates from 2017. We are still awaiting confirmation of exact arrangements from the suppliers.
