Very nice spot with plenty of room...
We had a family vacation with 13 staying at the cottage...we would have breakfast at the cottage then go into Prague for the day. We found bus very easy and used Uber for Grandma. Ben and Denise were great to communicate with....and the price was great.
Quiet family holiday home but convenient for visiting Prague
Property just as described. Great and convenient location for exploring Prague and surrounding area. Easy for the metro and a couple of good restaurants nearby if you don't feel like cooking! New supermarket just about to open which will make things very easy for self-catering! We were made to feel very welcome on arrival and there was always someone to contact if there were any problems. Great holiday.
+++ Very nice location + easy to reach bus/metro + very good prepared (Welcome Package, bus tickets) + super contact from booking to departure +++
Thank you for your lovely feedback Mario! It is always a great pleasure to welcome families to IdyllicPrague and it means so much to us to know that you enjoyed a wonderful holiday. We are delighted that the IdyllicPrague smugmug photo gallery we have compiled for our guests guided you to local restaurants, breweries and bohemian attractions. A gentle evening walk from the IdyllicPrague Cottages through Tiché Údolí Silent Valley National Park Forest takes you to several tempting, affordable, relaxing, memorable family restaurants. You mentioned how delicious you found Pizzeria Sklípek and how much you enjoyed the historic brewery restaurant. Únětický Pivovar brews its own excellent beer and wine on the premises offering value, flavour and quality not to be missed!
We look forward to welcoming you back to IdyllicPrague again very soon!
Great, great, great!
Great house, great value, Great communication from the owner. We enjoyed our midweek break walking and cycling around the local countryside as well as exploring the city centre of Prague. We will be back!
The property was a short drive from the airport- a bonus after a long day travelling. We hired a car (which enabled us to explore a bit further afield) and found the spacious garage with remote control door very useful. the house was a great base to explore the centre of Prague as well as more rural areas and provided a cosy base to cook and play games in after a long day exploring- top marks!
Fun with friends!
Apartment was perfect for five friends with plenty of space to stretch out and well located to see the city with a bus stop nearby. The wi-fi coped with all our devices and the washing machine was an additional convenience as we got quite muddy on a walk one afternoon! Already looking forward to our return visit!
The Idyllic Prague Cottages are situated 20 minutes NW of Prague City and 15 minutes NE of Prague Airport in a village called Cerny Vul. ('Cerny Vul' means 'black bullock' which refers to Neolithic ceramics found here) Cerny Vul is not yet big enough to be officially classed as a village, but it has a delightful relaxed atmosphere and three pub restaurants. Two government ministers have chosen Cerny Vul cottages as their holiday home hideaways. Although cars and taxis can access the Cottage, the house is situated by a Cherry Orchard off Cycle Track 8100. Cycle Track 8100 follows streams and fish lakes through the forest of 'Tichy Udoli' (Silent Valley) National Park to an intriguing rope ferry built to take cyclists and ramblers across the river Vltava and hence on to further countryside or Prague City. In the opposite direction the cycle track leads to the fairytale Ukor Castle.
