New comfortable villa with amazing views to the sea, situated on a quiet área of private villas. The restoration works finished on September 2017 and the resoult is a very attractive villa with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, sitting room, fully equiped kitchen and two terraces with views. The front one is ideal for morning breakfasts to enjoy the morning sunshine, and the extremely secluded lateral one is perfect to have a drink on the afternoons while you have a "siesta" on the balinese bed. This area of Tenerife is well known for the local home made food places called "Guachinches", simple places where you can taste the real taste of canary food at very low prices. This village of El Sauzal is situated middway from the tourist town of Puerto de la Cruz and our capital, Santa Cruz, famous as shopping center and Opera House. El Sauzal is a charming village of private villas, well known for El Mirador de las Breñas -with its spectacular views- and the unspoilt Playa de Rojas. The barbacue works with coal

Wonderful property just as the pictures

A beautiful setting with wonderful views, a little isolated but once we found our bearings everything was fine. The house was in very good order throughout and Mark was most helpful throughout our stay.

Just one aside, for families from the UK with children the TV has hardly any English speaking channels, it is advertised as DVD player however the smart TV has superseded this, so be prepared.

Yes, the sat tv has not got much channels so I recommend all our guests to bring films for the DVD to enjoy the big Smart tv. Hat unsere Erwartungen voll erfüllt

Geschmackvolle, überwiegend modern eingerichtete Wohnung, mit einem sagenhaften Blick aufs Meer. Ruhige Lage. Schöner Garten mit zwei Terrassen. Netter Vermieter. Will man allen seinen Restaurantempfehlungen folgen, sollte man das Haus mindestens 4 Wochen mieten.

Aber wir wären keine richtigen Deutschen, wenn wir nicht etwas zu kritisieren hätten. In der ansich gut augerüsteten Küche fehlt ein großer Bräter. Schließlich ist eine Ziegenkeule gut 40 cm lang.

Wir kommen gerne wieder.

La maison est moderne et vraiment très chouette avec tout le confort nécessaire. Le plus c'est la vue sur la mer! C'est un bon choix pour explorer le nord de l'île.

Schönes Haus mit deutlichen Mängeln im Sanitärbereich

Das Ferienhaus ist im Gegensatz zur Beschreibung weder neu noch renoviert, sondern nur teilrenoviert: das große Zimmer zum Wohnen/Essen/Kochen und die Schlafzimmer sind ansprechend – aber die Bäder sind sehr problematisch:

- Die Warmwasserversorgung hat zu wenig Druck: die beiden Duschen können nicht gleichzeitig benutzt werden.

- Bei einer Duschwanne läuft das Wasser sehr langsam ab, aus dem Abfluss der anderen kommt ein starker Geruch nach Kloake.

- Die Abläufe der Waschbecken haben keinen Geruchverschluss.

- Das Bidet ist nicht benutzbar, weil eine Seite nur 8cm Wandabstand hat: da bringt man kein Bein dazwischen.

- Die Fliesen sind alt, teilweise schlecht verfugt und mit Ablagerungen

Das Haus liegt nicht am Meer, sondern in ca. 250m Höhe darüber mit einer tollen Aussicht - über die Anliegerstraße hat man keinen Zugang zum Meer.

Der Außenbereich ist gepflegt und ansprechend, war aber in unserem Fall wegen Schlechtwetter nicht nutzbar.

Der Vermieter ist sehr zuvorkommend und bemüht, bei Problemen schnell zu helfen. Aber er ist ziemlich machtlos gegen eine winterliche Schlechtwetterperiode mit täglichem Regen, Wind und Außentemperaturen zwischen 13 und 15 Grad, die in unserem Fall Anfang Februar 2018 zwei Wochen gedauert hat. Das Haus hat nur Einfachverglasung und keine Heizung. Die Innentemperatur liegt dann bei 15 Grad. Man bringt sie zwar mit Heizlüftern innerhalb von 3 Stunden auf 20 Grad – die Feuchtigkeit bringt man aber doch nicht raus. Über Nacht oder tagsüber, wenn man außer Haus ist, sinkt die Innentemperatur ohne laufende Heizlüfter wieder auf 15 Grad.

Fazit: Solange die Bäder nicht renoviert sind, stimmt das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis nicht. Kühl und feucht bei Schlechtwetterperioden im Winter.
