About the property

Birch 8 is a privately owned static van in an quiet corner of St Helens Holiday Park. Comfortable accommodation sleeps up to 6 people. It has 2 bedrooms plus sofa bed with linen included. The main bedroom has a king size bed with a memory foam mattress and ensuite shower room. This is separated by the open plan kitchen, diner and lounge leading to the twin bedroom with 3ft beds which also have memory foam mattresses and an ensuite shower room. The van is double glazed and centrally heated, so warm and cosy in Winter. The kitchen has the convenience of a under counter fridge/freezer, cooker and microwave etc. The lounge has a sofa bed, log effect electric fire and Freeview TV/DVD. Outside there is a large decking area with table and chairs and BBQ. (See photos). To allow children to play safely, there is a separate large car park, with trolleys provided for your luggage. The park facilities include an outdoor heated pool (open May to September), play areas, small games room with pool table and arcade games, launderette and plenty of open space for ball games and dog walking. The park has no clubhouse or entertainment so is quiet and peaceful. St Helens boasts a family friendly pub 2 minutes walk away serving food all day. A local shop/post office with its own small cafe, where you can enjoy your bacon butties! St Helens beach and cafe is a 15 minute walk away or 2 minute drive (pay & display parking is available) and is ideal for children and dogs. National Trust land is behind the beach.

Our holiday

We had a great week in this caravan. The site has an outside heated pool which the grandchildren loved - even in the rain! The caravan was well equipped and very comfortable. Had tea and biscuits from Debbie and Bryan on arrival - so a nice welcome.

Absolutely wonderful!

We had an absolutely amazing stay! We were greeted with tea, biscuits and milk which was a lovely little touch. The caravan is tucked away on a lovely quiet site , so peaceful, yet with a little park and pool that my 7 yr old loved. He had the freedom to play with the other children on the site because it felt completely safe. The caravan was so homely and had everything you could possibly need and more! We would definitely go back!

Lovely quiet place for our holiday!

Once again we really enjoyed our stay in Bryan and Debbie's caravan! They have thought of everything for a most enjoyable holiday stay! All the little extras most appreciated.... Everywhere is spick and span as we knew it would be! We didn't want to leave as it's just like home from home! Fingers crossed we will be back again next year!

Perfect facilities for a quiet break "away from it all" to recharge after School holidays.

What we were looking for:

• A place for us to have a few quiet days away from the madding crowd with our two dogs;

• A Home away from Home to recharge the batteries;

• An opportunity to explore the options of good food and wine;

• An opportunity to explore "uncharted (for us) territory".

What we got:

• Exactly what we wanted.

In addition, we received a welcome from our hosts that made us feel at home even swifter than we normally do. I particular we were very pleased with the cleanliness/presentation of the property.

We would recommend Bryan & Debbie's Park Home to any and all of our friends.
