Fabulous duplex-penthouse with breathtaking views of the majestic Alboran Sea, with nice fireplace and BBQ. Enjoy the sunshine in the sunny terrace, or in the private solarium or at one of the three large pools. At only 600 meters from the beach, in a privileged complex built in Andalusian style, with 10.000 sq of tropical gardens and own lounge bar. Located in the heart of Costa del Sol, in an extremely characteristic, quite and lively area within short walk distance to all services

The complex comprises high standard apartments designed in a traditional Mediterranean style with marble floors and a magical touch of Mediterranean inspiration. Just beautiful. There are three big pools in the complex (open all year) sorrounded by palm tres, tropical flowers and exotic birds species. Only the residents can access to the 10.000 square meters of private gardens, so having a lovely walk through this huge green area is a treat for the senses.

You will immediately sense its special intimate atmosphere that makes you feel like being in your own Andalusian home. Each detail has been passionately chosen. This penthouse mixes valuable antiques and original artworks with an unexpected eclectic contemporary twist.

At the spacious living room there is a charming sofa, which can convert into a comfortable double bed (140x200) in a few steps, and a modern table with their chairs. Also there is a HD TV 40” inch brand new, perfect to watch your favorite shows (international channels) or enjoy our fantastic film library with more than 700 films of all genres (action, comedy, drama, horror, sci-fi…). For all over the house there is a very high speed internet connection (100 Mbps) due to the fiber optic installation. The WiFi is fast, totally free and without limits. You can access to internet in any device: tablet, smartphone, notebook...

There is a fireplace so your winter nights are even warmer and also we have an air conditioning for a fresh atmosphere in the summer. Under demand could be available a BBQ in the solarium (has additional cost).

The main bedroom has a comfy XXL king size bed (160x200), a large wardrobe with a safe box inside. Has its own private bathroom with a big mirror and a relaxing bathtub (that can be used also as shower). All the bed linens, towels, shower gel and shampoo are provided.

From the living room or the main bedroom you can access to the private terrace where there are a wooden furniture (dining table with chairs) and a useful sun umbrella. With the sun on your head, the sea as background and the sound of the birds this is the perfect place to lay back with a cool drink and enjoy your holiday.

The kitchen is equipped with all appliances: oven, microwave, refrigerator, toaster, kettle, juicer .. Also we provide all the utensils you may need during your stay: dishes, cutlery, glasses, wine glasses, coffee cups, tea pot, pots and pans, stainless steel and so on. Also in the apartment you will find a useful iron and and an ironing board.

At the main floor there is another bathroom fully equipped and with a bathtub (that also can be used as shower) so everybody has their own privacy and space.

For those that wish to come with 5 or 6 people in total there are two extra single beds at the attic. This bedroom has low roofs but it is enough to squat a little the head.

Please note that the 2nd bedroom is on the roof-top level. It is an 'attic' bedroom accessible via an iron staircase. The 2nd bathroom is on the main level.

Also at the upper floor there is the solarium without doubt our favourite part of the house. With a high quality grass floor, spectacular sea views and comfortable loungers this place is perfect to relax while you take a cold drink from the chic "coolbox" (up for more than 42 cans/bottles).

Good base to explore the area

Apartment is clean and well equipped with all the necessary appliances and utensils. Apart from the normal appliances ie cooker, fridge freezer, microwave, washing machine, kettle and toaster it also has a coffee machine and blender.

The TV has over 150 channels and the Wi-Fi is free with a strong signal. The grounds of the complex are also clean and well maintained.

We visited mid February and were lucky with the weather that allowed us to enjoy the solarium which is equipped with 2 x sun loungers.

We used this apartment primarily as a base to explore the local areas as it is well served by bus and taxi. The bus stop is a 8 minute walk down a hill to the main road where you are able to take a bus as we did to other resorts on the coast including Marbella, Fuengirola, Benalmadena, Torremolinos and Malaga.

There is a supermarket 2 minute walk away which sells the majority of things required during your stay however there is a larger supermarket down the hill which sells a greater range of products. There are also bars and restaurants nearby.

As others have stated this apartment is not ideal for those with mobility issues due to the steps to access the apartment, but also the hill to reach it from the main road if walking.

It was fairly quiet whilst we were there with many of the other apartments unoccupied at the time which suited us. I would imagine it is a bit more lively during the height of the season.

We had no need to bother Olga and Nolan during our stay as everything was OK. We did however take up the offer of Nolan to transport us from the airport and return for a competitive rate.

Lovely apartment, great views and wonderful hosts!

Sol Penthouse is a lovely apartment, well equipped with a spacious balcony and an excellent roof terrace, offering superb sea views and the surrounding area. It actually looks and feels more like you're in the tropics than Spain!

The apartment sits in a nice complex with three well maintained pools and a friendly, inexpensive pool bar.

There's a supermarket a few minutes walk away next to some good restaurants and a lounge bar. The other direction ( left out of the gate ) will take you down to the beach with more shops, restaurants and bars in Riviera Del Sol. There's a lovely walk along a wooden promenade by the sea towards La Cala de Mijas, and delicious fresh seafood to try at one of the numerous 'chiringuitos' restaurants along the way.

Nolan and Olga are fantastic hosts and genuinely go out of their way to ensure you have a great holiday. We hope to stay here again and would definitely recommend without hesitation.

Perhaps you'd best book it before someone else does! :))

Beautiful place.

Me and the hubby have just come back from our stay at the Sun Penthouse, we were well impressed, very clean, comfortable and equipped with everything you would need. The views from the apartment are stunning and loved the sun trap on top floor. Just a walk up the road to nearby shops for food and more important wine 😜

The area is beautiful and we did plenty of walking along the board walk, one of my favourite places was Mijas Pueblo, amazing view and lovely to walk round, we also enjoyed Marbella.

We will definitely be back 😎

Thank you so much Nolan for your hospitality. We absolutely loved the penthouse and had a fantastic week. It was exactly what we were looking for and you were extremely accommodating for all of our needs. I would 100% book this place again and highly recommend not just this apartment but also Olga and Nolan to anyone else. Really great experience! Had a lovely 3 pools and was literally a 7 min walk to the beach. About 10 mins in a car/taxi to Marbella city center which was ideal also.

Wir werden ganz sicher wieder kommen!

Wir waren mit 3 Erwachsen und 1 Kind (4jahre) für 2 Woche im sonnigem Mijas Costa in der zwei- Zimmer-Penthouse von Olga und Nolan. Es war großartig.... die Landschaft, die Wohnung,der Strand, die Umgebung und das Wetter. In der Wohnung ist alles für die ersten Tage vorhanden... Toilettenpapier, Spülmittel,Waschmittel etc.und sogar Kaffee, Wasser, Milch und Obst. So hat man nach der Anreise Zeit alles zu besorgen. Nolan vielen Dank für deine so nette Gastfreundschaft!!! Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet/hergerichtet. Die drei Pools haben wir dafür umso mehr genutzt. Sie sind direkt vor der Terrasse. Sie sind groß genug um auch seine Bahnen schwimmen zu können. Wem das nicht reicht,der geht ins Mittelmer schwimmen/baden. Der Strand ist zu Fuß in 7-10 min.zu erreichen. Es sind Restaurants, Liegen und Schirmverleih direkt vor ort vorhanden. Der Riviera Strand ist ein Feiner Sand. Der Standort ist optimal als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge sowohl in Richtung marbella ( ca.10min) als auch in Richtung Malaga ca. 20 min. Der Kontakt zu Nolan war immer persönlich und sehr freundlich. Alle Fragen wurden promt beantwortet. Wir werden ganz sicher wieder kommen, denn 2 Woche war definitiv zu kurz! Ganz liebe Grüße Familie Moltzen aus Hamburg - Deutschland

Great expirience and amazing sea views await you

We've just come back from a family holiday (3 weeks) at #solpenthouse. Our experience was fantastic, the townhouse is extremely well furnished and very well looked after with very nice and original decoration.

Clean, functional with easy car-parking just in front of the door. Fully equipped kitchen, with everything you need, two bath and two cosy bedrooms (one in attic). We really enjoyed breakfasts on the terrace with breathtaking views. On arrival we received a very warm welcome along with a tour by the exclusive urbanization Albamar (3 pools open all year long and nice hidden pond with Koi carps). Complex very quite, you only hear birdsong and nature.The fridge and cupboards were already stocked with some essential provisions so we didn't even need to make a trip to the supermarket to pick up bread and milk. The nearest supermarket is only 2 min walking (Supermercado Miraflores). The view from the balcony area is beautiful looking up into the beach, you really feel the peace and tranquility. Don't miss the barbecue in the solarium with sea views, it's wonderful! The location suited us perfectly. You won't need a car to visit all the beaches and nearby attractions, nice kids park only 7 min away.The Riviera beach(about 10 min away) is very clean and well maintained, not overcrowded.

The beaches have sunbeds, showers... and a lot of beach restaurants (called "chiringuitos") where you can eat fresh fried fish or enjoy of a delicious a seafood paella. Also if you have children the Aquapark (at 10 minutes driving) is a must. We had a wonderful holiday and I would very much recommend the #solpenthouse and Olga &Nolan as a host. We definetely will be back!!
