A luxury sea view garden floor apartment within the Kalamar Meltem Apartment residence, a boutique complex of 10 privately owned apartments, consisting of 2 buildings separated by 2 large salt water, infinity swimming pools, joined by a waterfall.The apartment has a large master bedroom with en-suite bathroom, large family bathroom, additional WC plus utility room. The apartment has been furnished to the highest standard with a modern fully equipped kitchen with dining area & large lounge. The apartment looks out onto a large garden terrace with its own fantastic sea views & dining area. There are large shared terraces, landscaped gardens & BBQ area with sun loungers, tables and umbrellas where you can sunbathe, relax & entertain. The pool area facilities include WiFi, fridge, water dispenser, sink, telephone for local calls such as taxis, outside shower, changing room & WC. There are roof terraces with kitchenettes, WC's and a bar & seating area for relaxing & enjoying the panoramic views.

We had a wonderful holiday in Kalkan and we found the garden apartment ideal for us being very spacious and comfortable. It was marvellous sitting every morning on the patio having breakfast and gazing out to sea at Kalamar Bay with two islands not far off. The apartment itself is well-furnished and has the added quality of being very quiet. It was so relaxing.

Literally only a few steps away within the Kalamar Meltem residence, there are two lovely pools with ample space to relax with umbrellas providing shade when required. We availed of the barbeque facility by the upper pool on several occasions.

We also made use of the rooftop area above the apartment and spent many an evening watching glorious sunsets and enjoying uninterrupted views of Butterfly Bay and beyond.

Kalkan is such a friendly place with a great variety of restaurants serving mouth-watering food at reasonable prices. Doy Doy became a great favourite of ours with its delicious menu and with a great view of Kalkan harbour.

We explored outside Kalkan visiting Patara with its beautiful white sandy beach and its incredible ruins of an ancient civilisation.

We were so happy with our holiday that we shall be returning and have recommended the garden apartment in Kalamar Meltem to our friends and family.

Smoking is not allowed in the apartment only in external areas. Weekly cleaning included for those staying more than 8 nights. Additional maid service available (please ask for cost) Communal telephone available for local calls - save on those expensive mobile calls. Cold Water dispenser by the pool side, as well as a fridge for use of guests. Full time property supervisor on site during the day, who will also deliver fresh bread every morning if requested. He will even help you with your BBQ Welcome food pack to get you through the first morning. Meet & Greet service provided, with access to our English speaking representative who will assist you with any queries regarding the apartment or the area. Airport transfers arranged on request. Sunbeds, umbrellas, tables & chairs provided around the pool terraces.

Turkish Delight

We have recently returned from our third stay in Papatya and have already booked to visit next year.

The apartment forms part of a small very select development situated in a peaceful location overlooking Kalamar Bay. It is within easy reach of Kalkan with it's large selection of restaurants, bars, quality shops and picturesque harbour. We understand that Papatya is primarily the owners holiday home, which is certainly reflected in the quality of the furnishings and décor.

For us it has become the perfect holiday location where we spend our time either relaxing on the garden terrace under the canopy of bourgainvillea, cooling off in one of the swimming pools or travelling afield to enjoy all that the region has to offer. Our personal favourite is taking an all day boat trip on board a gulet, where you get the opportunity to see the beautiful coastline, take frequent swims in the warm crystal clear sea, as well as enjoying a bbq lunch cooked by the crew.

We had a loveley time at the apartments. They were spacious and very affordable. The pool was just gorgeous and we spent many days looking over the edge of the pool into the lovely ocean thinking how lucky we were! The hosts are fantastic and are more than happy to help out in any way possible. Kalkan is such a gorgeous area and I couldn't recommend these apartments highly enough. If you are planning on staying in Kalkan this is the place to be. It is a lovely walk into the old town yet still far enough away that you have your own privacy. Although we would have been more than happy to make our delicious dinners in the huge kitchen and eat under the stars every night. Thank you for such a memorable stay that we hope to do again some day!

Kalkan is part of the Lycian Peninsula with a vast choice of rooftop and waterfront restaurants and bars which give stunning views of the sunset over the bay and night time moon and stars. Kalkan perhaps offers the most stylish ambiance & charm. Kalkan certainly beckons the discerning holiday maker. The apartment is well placed for visiting ancient historical sites such as Xanthos, Patara and Myra, the home of St. Nicholas, being just a few, as well as, walking the ancient Lycien Way, a 509-km marked footpath with its spectacular scenery along the turquoise coastline interspersed with historical reminders of a fascinating past. You can take a gullet boat trip to the sunken city of Kekova. The gorge at Saklikent provides another area for walking and river rafting. You can take a Jeep safari up the mountains. A para-gliding centre is also nearby. There is also the opportunity to take part in many water sports such as canoeing along the Xanthos River, diving or water skiing.
