Sue & Richard were extremely friendly & welcoming and the cottage is in an amazing location, so quiet & relaxing. Would not hesitate to return and would highly recommend a visit.
A lovely cottage beautiful location that has everything you need.
Had a lovely weekend break. Cottage was very clean and comfortable. Beautiful views so relaxing. Sue and Richard were so obliging and helpful. Would definitely recommend this sweet little cottage for a break away from it all!
Great location and base for exploring stunning are
We stayed in the larger of the two bedroom cottages with our two boys. Comfortable and cosy. Lovely homemade baked goodies from the owners Sue and Richard were a welcome surprise. Great location for exploring stunning coastline, Harlech castle, Barmouth, Shell Island. Steam train nearby into Snowdonia taking in breathtaking scenery. Family mountain biking nearby at Barmouth and Coed Y Brenin. Would definitely return one day.
Cozy place with a great location
Stayed here in late March and found this to be a very agreeable cottage; thanks to the coastal location the whole area is scenic (don't miss the sunset views at the nearby beach!), and still quite good for getting to the main attractions of Snowdonia. Owners Richard and Sue were on hand to settle us in and provided some lovely refreshments for our arrival - thanks!
I would say the cottage is most suitable for couples or parents with one or two children, however though the second bedroom is smaller it is still usable for an adult.
Relaxing days in beautiful landscape
We had a very relaxing stay at Y Stabal. The cottage has everything you need and is located in a very quiet area away from the road. For three adults the bedrooms (even the single bed) were large enough. We got lots of helpful information from Sue and Richard including detailed maps for hiking trips.
The landscape is very beautiful. You can enjoy the beach with its dunes as well as the green hills with its peaceful lakes nearby.
Enjoy the stay!
