About the property

A well presented end of terrace property situated on the popular Bedgrove area of Aylesbury. The property is located two minutes walk from a parade of shops which includes a supermarket and newsagents. It is only 2.5 miles from Aylesbury train station which has trains to London Marylebone in an hour.

There is a small entrance hall for coats and boots. The hallway leads to the sitting room which has a bay window to the front of the property. There is a two seater and four seater brown leather sofa: wall mounted flat screen tv with freeview and DVD player. The property also has Wi-Fi

The kitchen is well equipped with microwave, 8 burner gas hob and double oven, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and washing machine. It opens to a conservatory with dining table and six chairs. A door from the kitchen leads to an enclosed garden, partly decked, part gravelled with flower beds boarding the fence.

Upstairs there are two bedrooms. Bedroom one has large built in wardrobes, double bed and looks out to the rear of the property. Bedroom two has a single bed with a 'pull out bed' underneath making it into a twin.

The bathroom has a Jacuzzi bath with overbath power shower and is tiled throughout..

Very good

  • 4 of 5

The property was excellent and in good order but we certainly could have done without the glass television table top in the bedroom which was strategically placed by the bedroom door which caused some bad language from me and a nasty bruise on the leg from my wife. It should be moved but the base is exceptionally heavy.

Perfect location to visit the Aylesbury area

  • 4 of 5

It's a standard private house in the bedgrove area of town with some nice added features. The kitchen and conservatory area is well designed in particular. It's very well placed for the local shops and we enjoyed many local dog walks through Bedgrove park towards Western Turville.

It showed signs of being a family home when not rented out with family photographs and some designated cupboards allocated.

The property suited our needs as we were visiting friends in Aylesbury, where we used to live until about ten years ago.

A couple of things were not as they should have been: it looked like the bath plug had been broken for a while and the lack of useable bedside reading lights made it not quite perfect for us.

On the whole though it was clean and tidy and met our needs for a week away.

Thank you!

First Visit to the Chilterns.

  • 4 of 5

The property was very welcoming, roomy and comfortable and had pretty much everything we needed for a home from home holiday; like being invited into someone's home. The nearby parade of shops was a great help catering for all our requirements and although we didn't need to use it, the frequent bus service into town was handy.

We very much enjoyed the hills, the reservoirs and the canal, we also made good use of our National Trust Memberships.

Very comfortable property

  • 5 of 5

Very nice spacious property. Had all the comforts I needed for my stay. Very convenient for the local shops, being a minute's walk away, and about a 10 minute drive to the town centre.
