A stunning new build house that boasts uninterrupted views of Poole Harbour and Hamworthy Park. The view takes in the harbour islands and the Purbeck hills, with Corfe Castle in the distance. The sun rise and sunset from this super apartment has got to be one of the best in the world. All viewed from your holiday home.

Our beautiful modern interior balances the needs of contemporary living with a prefect family atmosphere. 
With four bedrooms (two double, one twin, one quadruple), superior quality mattresses and beds dressed with crisp white sheets, it’s the perfect place to lay your head after a busy day out exploring the beautiful Dorset Coast. The house also has a sofa bed in the main living area and a second, living, dining area with an extra sofa bed. There are two family bathrooms, shower room and an additional W.C.)

The open plan living area with comfy sofas, flat screen TV , free view and Netflix and large family dining table gives plenty of room to rest and play. The apartment boasts a full-length balcony and outdoor seating area that provides the perfect place to sit, relax and admire the views. The fully equipped contemporary kitchen has everything you need including washing machine and dishwasher.

As a family friendly house we want to make you and your families visit as easy and stress free as possible. To help entertain the children we have a selection of small toys, books and games and can provide a travel cot and high chair with advance notification. For the outdoors we have a selection of buckets and spades freely available to use. If you really want to make for a perfect holiday we have a beach hut available to rent at just £20 per day or £70 for the whole week. We really do want you to have the best family holiday experience.

Linen, bath towels, hairdryer, iron, sample toiletries and a welcome pack are included in your price. We also have ample off road parking.

Out and about

Situated in the small hamlet of Poole, our apartment is perfect for a relaxing family holiday with everything you need within a short walking distance. Within the area there are several small shops and take away restaurants where you can find the perfect holiday dinner.

Directly across the road from the apartment is a safe sandy beach, with shallow waters ideal for children and water sport enthusiasts. The beach site and park is a safe environment to make the most of your holiday with a large play park, paddling pool, café and the outdoor activities centre: Harbour Challenge ( The centre offers activities for all ages including: sailing, windsurfing, kayaking, climbing there is also a great play park, water park and café all on your door step.

Through the park you can take a 20-minute coastal walk to Poole Quay Harbour (the 2nd largest natural harbour in the world after Sydney, Australia). From the Quay you can take a short harbour cruise and stop off at the famous National Trust and RSPB site ‘Brownsea Island’. Brownssea Island is the home of the first Scout camp founded by Sir Baden Powel in 1907. The site attracts worldwide visits and is the home to the Red Squirrel, Peacocks and Deer. Also on the quay you will find an array of restaurants, bars and cafes and many original historic buildings. The Tourism office can be found within the town History Museum situated in the ‘old town’. During the height of the Summer, free evening entertainment is held with live music, children's entertainment and a weekly firework display.
Just further along from the quay you land in Poole Town Centre which boasts many high street shops along with smaller independents.

Poole Park with its large lake and children activities is also within easy walking distance from the Quay. The park has several eateries and its own soft play area and mini ice rink. 

Poole is an ideal location to explore the beautiful Dorset countryside, Jurassic coastline and stunning golden sand beaches.

Within the apartment you will find a wide range of literature available to help you plan your days out. 

Getting Around

Buses in the town are frequent and it is easy to reach the surrounding areas by public transport. The town hosts a tour bus that runs regularly and can be taken between Poole and Swanage and back through Studland. Poole train station is just a 30 minute walk away and runs trains through to Weymouth, Southampton, Portsmouth via the West coast line.
The ferry across to Studland can be picked up from Sandbanks, a short car journey away.

The small print

Our apartments are family owned and with little ones we understand the importance of ‘the little things’. If there is anything you need we are just a short walk away from the apartment and can assist you. Our aim is to give you and your family the perfect holiday experience.

Check out: 10:00 am on the day of departure 

Check in: 15:00-10:00 (later times by prior arrangement) 

A security deposit of £150 is required to cover damages and excess cleaning but will be refunded following a sufficient departure check.

The beach hut is available on a daily rent of £20 or £70 for the whole week. Early booking recommended to avoid disappointment. The hut has an array of beach toys.

Please note the house will be fully completed and available for rent from June 2017. As this is a new build apartment only exterior views are available at the moment but the site will be updated with internal photos as soon as internal fittings are completed.

About Renee Clarke

My name is Renee Clarke and I am the property manager for this new build apartment. I rent the apartment on behalf of my friends (Dave and Emma) and I live just a 5 minute walk of the property.

I have 2 young children and we love living by the sea and all the pleasures it brings. During the Spring and Summer our family practically lives at the beach or on the water. We have a sail boat in Poole Harbour and also enjoy paddle boarding and BBQ most evenings.

Poole is a beautiful place to be and I look forward to welcoming you to this fabulous area and all it has to offer.

Family Christmas

I booked Harbour View for a 3 night Christmas break. We hired the whole of the property as staying were my son and his wife, my daughter and her husband, my mum, my husband and I. The property was beautiful, spacious, spotless and had a great view over the park to the sea. All agreed beds were comfortable and there was more than enough space in the upstairs lounge/kitchen/dining room for all of us and not feel on top of each other. In fact on boxing day we were joined by my brother, his wife, my nephew and his girlfriend just for the day and there was still plenty of space for us all. The owner had thoughtfully provided, foil turkey trays, and new baking sheets and the house was very prettily decorated with reindeer, garlands, Christmas lights and a tree, so it all felt very festive when we arrived. The owner very obligingly allowed as entry to the house earlier than usual so we could get set up for our break. It really was just what we needed in terms of accommodation, location, suitability for an ageing parent and all our family's various requirements. The only niggles I had was that there was no freezer space. Both kitchens have a small under unit fridge with icebox but no freezer. Even using both the fridges we struggled a bit to house all our Christmas food. I understand during the summer people are more likely to eat out, bbq and not need much space for food storage, but maybe over festive periods, the offer of renting a freezer could be made? We also missed having champagne glasses for our celebrations so maybe these could be added to the equipment. The owner left a note regarding a problem with some of the blinds in the lounge saying they were awaiting repair, we only had a short period of sunshine whilst staying and it was blinding without blinds so hopefully future guests will benefit from repaired blinds. These really are tiny niggles as it was a lovely break, easy to book and the owner/manager were quick to respond to queries and very very helpful. Many thanks.

Great house in fab location

Eight of us enjoyed a weekend at Harbour View. We enjoyed the wonderful morning views and were fortunate enough to have sunshine as well! The house is incredibly spacious with everything you could want. We had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend!
