This contemporary stylish penthouse with 2 bedrooms is situated just 20 metres from the beach and within flat/ short walk of all amenities needed to enjoy the perfect getaway.

The apartment includes: Wifi, use of secure underground parking space, lift access to all floors, air conditioning in Master Bedroom and living room, large terrace (southwest facing) with spectacular views, high level of comfort throughout and communal pool and gardens which are open all year.

The property sleeps 4 in comfort and is available for a minimum stay of one week all year round.

Please note that is is a strictly no-smoking no pets property.

Beach side apartment at lovely La Cala.

The Apartment is 50 metres from the beautiful Blue Flag beach of La Cala.

La Cala is an attractive, compact, low rise resort that retains a spanish flavour. It is located half way between Marbella and Malaga on the Costa del Sol, in Malaga, southern Spain. Within a few minutes walk of the apartment there are local shops and bars and restaurants, though these are generally quiet and family friendly so there is no noise problem.

The attractive town square surrounds a castle tower, and there are fiesta and cultural events through the year. There is an old town area, and lots of restaurants, bars and shops and a couple of large supermarkets near the centre.

You do not have to rent a car to enjoy this apartment and resort. The beach, bars, restaurant and a mini supermarket are all within a very short walk of the apartment. There are regular buses to Marbella and Malaga. The very busy A-7 which intrudes through much of the Costa del Sol coast diverts around the back of La Cala, so you do not have to cross it to walk to town.

The beach is sandy, wide and good bathing for kids.

First class apartment on a first class complex clean rooms with quite a range of facilities, large balcony with pool and sea views close to the sea.

Many nice restaurants in La Cala no complaints about any of the ones we used

I would not hesitate to book this apartment again in the future,exellent response and feedback from the owner with any questions.

Great apartment

This was the first time staying in this apartment having been to La Cala several times. The apartment is clean and has all the amenities that you would ever need. It was good to have free and reliable wifi. The apartment is on the 3rd floor with a working lift for those who need this. The apt is a 10 minute walk from the town centre with the beach and boardwalk 100 metres from the complex. The balcony receives the sun most of the day and into the evening enabling residents to sit outside well into the evening. The owner’s communication throughout was very good with plenty of information on the apartment and the local area. I would recommend this apartment.

Lovely safe secure homely apartment literally a stones throw from the beach.

comfy beds, great views and great location only a short walk into the centre of La Cala which has got slightly busier over the years but still retains its charm.

Lovely relaxing break

The things I look for in a great apartment holiday:

1. great location near lovely beach and good restaurants

2. clean and well equipped

3. comfortable beds

4. big fridge freezer

5. dishwasher (remember to bring tablets from home)

6. fast dependable WiFi

7. excellent little shop across road just down the steps from the apartment front door

8. big balcony with stunning views

9. powerful shower with lots of hot water

10. big fluffy white towels (hate old threadbare ones!!)

And last but not least - helpful informative owners

This apartment fulfilled all these requirements!!

This is a lovely resort - fairly quiet at this time of year, nice places to eat and drink but not for those looking for vibrant night life but if sun, sea, sangria and total relaxation is what you are after then La Cala de Mijas is the place for you.

Highly recommended!

Fantastic Penthouse Apartment

This is our second stay at this apartment and we love it. The apartment itself is clean and well equipped with all you could need for holidays or a longer stay. The addition of the table top dishwasher was a great improvement to an already lovely apartment. The immediate surrounding area has shops, bars, restaurants, the park not forgetting the beach - all within a 3 minute walk, what more could you want? ...Oh yes the main town of La Cala just a 10 minute stroll away, all on the flat. Excellent Apartment

We rent an apartment twice a year in La Cala de Mijas and after 5 years we have found one we would definitely book again.

The apartment is in a beautiful complex just one street back from the stunning La Cala beach at Butiplaya and the owners have thought of everything convenience anyone could need for a lovely break.

The apartment is well proportioned and sits on the top floor of the Siesta Beach complex and the spacious balcony is a real suntrap affording great views down to the well tended garden and pool area as well as a clear view of the sea.

The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen area is well equipped should you decide to cook, though with some super bars and restaurants as well as an excellent Chirringuito just a hundred yards away the most cooking I did was boil some eggs for salads.

The owner provides very good information about the apartment prior to arrival and a local agent checked us in.

All in all an excellent apartment. We will be back.

The beach is fantastic. It is sandy, wide and spacious, because it is in a sheltered spot there is good bathing for kids

The Chiringuito (nearest beach bar) is also really close, about 50 metres from the apartment, there are beds for hire and good food including locally caught fish and sardines barbequed on sticks.

We just are back from a very good vacation, we stayed 11 days in the apartment and is clean and in good condition,balcony is very big and has a good view over the ocean and pool. Pool and Garden of the complex is very well maintained. good facilities and perfect location, couple of minutes walk to the beach. Owners are very helpfull!!! A big recommendation!!!'
