A great all year round destination. Situated in the heart of the delightful Torrox Pueblo this charming 2 bedroom town house offers excellent amenities including fully fitted kitchen with washing machine, fridge/freezer, shower/bathroom, TV with satellite & DVD, sleeps 4, spacious roof terrace. The property is close to the historic town square with restaurants, bars and shops. Easy access to beautiful beaches, mountains and golf courses. The area is a walkers' paradise surrounded by national parks. The Costa del Sol boasts the 'mejor clima de europa' - 'the best climate in Europe', and is great for vacations all year round. January is a particularly warm month. Torrox Pueblo is a lovely hillside village about 50 kilometres east of Malaga with a serenely peaceful plaza where you can while away a balmy evening, or sunlit siesta, sipping wine or cerveza from the bars and eating wonderful tapas.

We had a very nice week in your house, the roof terrace is a dream.We liked the house very much. I wanted to write a comment on HomeAway, but somehow Torrox is not in my bookings. Perhaps because I was not logged-in while booking... I would give the house 4 stars, one less because of the slight noise at night.

wonderful holidays in an authentic townhouse

The cosy little house is in a narrow alley in Torrox, a grown place that is not overly touristic. We felt very comfortable. The furnishings are functional and affectionately decorated. As described, you reach the bedrooms on the first floor from the kitchen via a staircase, another staircase leads to the wonderful rooftop terrace. Since the house is an old townhouse, the steps are a bit steeper than you would expect from modern houses. But all in all there are only 25 steps to the roof terrace, not too many for healthy people. The shower in the bathroom is really big. Since the bathroom has no window, there is a fan that vents up. It is clear that the towels do not dry here after the whole family has showered. This is no problem, on the roof terrace is a clothesline, here everything dries very quickly. Until late evening the place is unfortunately a bit noisy, many motorcycles and mopeds clatter through the Calle Alta. Earplugs then provide good services.

From Torrox you can reach many sights within a short time. It takes about 45 minutes to Málaga; 1 hour to Granada or the Sierra Nevada and through the Sierra de las Nieves you need about 2 hours to Ronda (with many photo stops). Along the coast to the east are many beautiful beaches and the Cave of Nerja (the next town to the east) is awesome. Torrox Costa is about 10 km away and there are several supermarkets (including Aldi and Lidl), after a trip we could still shop in peace. We loved our stay, thanks Julie!

Sunny Spring Sojourn

What a beautiful traditional Spanish village house. I loved the roof terrace and spent many happy hours with a glass of "vino" reading and watching the swallows. The house is in a lovely quiet street and ideally located for enjoying the restaurants and bars on the square. It is also perfect as a base for visiting other villages using the bus services which I found very reliable and for getting from and to the airport. A thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing week. Can't wait to return in July. Thank you Julie

Enkel leilighet i lokalt miljø! Tungvint med mye trapper! Mye støy i området hele døgnet! Men alt i leiligheten fungerte! Veldig rått på badet, håndklerne tørket veldig sent! Hyggelig by med et fint lite torg med fine restauranter!

The perfect destination for a holiday any time of the year, the Costa del Sol has the best climate in Europe. One of the largest and most scenic villages on the coast, Torrox has all the charm of any typical Andalusian pueblo and remains one of the few coastal areas to remain relatively untouched by modern development. Torrox has steep winding streets and friendly people whose daily life is still rustic and traditional. A village full of atmosphere with its attractive squares cafes and tapas bars. The village also has a newly built communal all year round swimming pool. This combination of new and old makes Torrox an interesting place to stay, offering a village holiday in the Spanish countryside with the advantage of having the sea close by. Possible activities include walking, horse riding or exploring the white villages to sample their tasty wines and cuisine.
