Within a 5 minute drive you can reach the market town of Bridport &10 minutes the Beautiful Jurassic Coastline. It has a modern spacious open plan kitchen/diner that's furnished with all the modern equipment you would expect. There's an outhouse at the rear of the property where the washing machine & separate WC is located. Leading from the dining room is a comfortable size living room where you can relax, watch TV & enjoy a log fire. Upstairs there's one large bathroom which has a separate bath & shower cubicle. There's one master bedroom with a king size bed & one twin bedroom that has 2 single beds, a cot is also available on request. We can also provide an extra bed in the master room. At the rear of the cottage is a paved enclosed yard & the front of the cottage is fenced making it secure. Daisy cottage has been completely renovated its an ideal place to stay for families and couples of any age, with plenty in the surrounding area to see and do during your stay.
Daisy cottage is suitable for children under 5, there is a door at the bottom of the stairs and a stair gate at the top of the stairs. Cot and high chair available on request.
Pets are allowed but there are restrictions so please enquire before booking.
We enjoyed Dorset, Lulworth Cove was stunning in the beautiful sunshine we had all week. Lovely rest.
Sehr schönes, liebevoll eingerichtetes Cottage, das noch viel alten Charme ausstrahlt , trotzdem sehr modern. In dem herrlichen Himmelbett im Schlafzimmer schläft man wie ein Baby, die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, das Bad ist schön und sauber. Auch die Lage des Ortes ist ideal, um Ausflüge nach Dorset (Lyme Regis, Abbotsbury, Weymouth) zu unternehmen.
Bridport lies just over a mile inland from the coast at West Bay where the River Brit flows out to the sea. It nestles among the hills of West Dorset and is one of the Gateway Towns giving access to the Jurassic Coast, a World Heritage Site and 30 minute drive from the 2012 Olympic Sailing Event!! Bridport is a Beacon Town in recognition of the quality and diversity of its locally produced foodstuffs. It is a vibrant market town set inland from the West Bay coast, amongst the West Dorset hills. With farmers and street markets, Bridport also offers arts and craft shops and boasts the familiar supermarkets and high street stores. Many local producers trade at the Farmers Market in the Arts Centre on the second Saturday of the month and also trade on the Wednesday and Saturday street market. Bridport can be reached by a pleasant 30 min walk or 5 minute drive, you will find many excellent family friendly places to eat and drink including quality restaurants, diners, tea rooms and pubs.
