Why Alison Keefe, Dalmatian Property Management chose Brela
Our valued client owns this lovely apartment that we look after
Max guests:6 (sleeps up to 5 adults)
Cancelled bookings will not receive a refund
As small things can spoil your vacations...
No Sunset from this terrace because of Big Pink House on the left side.
There is too Old Mattress in the room with own bathroom. If you are over 100 kg don’t choose that room!
There is too Old Bed in the room with own bathroom. You hear loud noise every time your wife goes to wc.
There is Smell of Musty Water in the both bathrooms, you can’t avoid it.
There is a Terrible Sofa in the kitchen which is described by the agency as for one adult or two children.
If you go by 7 people don’t think that your children can sleep well as one third of this sofa is hard and the rest two third are extremely soft even for my sister in law who is 40 kg weight, so for any adult this sofa is not proper place and thanks to this sofa one of you will miss a real relaxing.
Look out there are Charges for the Late Arrival:
8 p.m. -10 p.m.
10 p.m. -12 p.m.
After 12 p.m.
Be informed there is a Damage deposit and you will get it back one week after check-out.
No Free Changes of Towels and Bed linens.
If you want new Bed Linens and Cleaning after one week stay you have to Pay Extra. Ask about it before you book these apartments because the agency keeps silence about it.
My family has visited Brela for the fifth time and all previous times we booked from the owners…
In our opinion when you are on vacations you will have a joy and fun if the conditions of the apartments are better then you have at your home. These apartments were much worse…
We are very sorry that the guest didn’t enjoy their stay as much as other guests have done so. We are surprised to hear about the damp smell as checking the property since his stay there is no smell and no guest reported this to us . Sometimes in the summer, when a yugo wind is blowing the bathroom drains of many properties smell as this is the smell from the local system. But this only happens during this climatic condition. We will improve the mattresses on the bed and sofabed this winter. The sunset view on the advert is a general view from the area, we are sorry it was misleading to have on our advert so we have removed it. Out advert advises about late arrival fees and we explain it on our first communication with a guest before they book. Many guest appreciate that we will greet them no matter how late they arrive, even if there is a charge for this. As a self catering apartment we do not clean or change the linen it during a guest stay but there is a washing machine for use by guests
A fantastic place to stay
From the very beginining of booking this apartment everything was trouble free. The staff dealt with all of our questions promptly and offered advice on the property and surronding area which proved invaluable.
The apartment was clean and comfortable with Satelite TV, DVD player and that all important Air Con unit...trust me, I fell in love with it!!?
The view from the porch across to the Island of Brac is quite simply stunning. There are a series of steep steps down to the beach, some are private and lead into peoples homes?(yeah) so be a little careful. Turn left from the apartment and walk to the end of the road and you walk down a path through Pine Trees, down to a beautiful beach...turn right and you're walking towards Brella itself, past a small local supermarket, and then to probably the best restaurant called 'Mediteran'. The walk to Brella harbour is quite a long one, especially in late August, so take advantage of the shade of local beach bars and cafe's along the way.....roughly speaking a meal was around £20.00 for the three of us, including beer/soft drinks.
All of the beaches were 'never' crowded....the sea water is perfect, Gin Clear, fish swim around your feet...snorkeling is a must....all the beaches are spotlessly clean. .but are pebbles/shale...so take beach shoes, you will need them.
Renting a car wasn't necessary for us, a bit of effort walking up to the main road from the apartment and you can catch a local, air coditioned bus for about £1.50 into the town of Omish, a very beautiful place, take a boat ride up the river or go to the many excursions stalls who offer white water rafting down through the Gorge.
Brella is a beautiful place, the people are friendly and even late at night there was 'never' any threat from anyone.....people seemed to be in a very good place, it was so relaxing.
But the whole time that we were there we never heard one English person speak, plenty of Italians, who love to holiday there as well as German and Croats....but why on earth the British are staying away from this place beggars belief...it is stunning and we will be going back as soon as we are able..........do yourself a favour and get over to the Dalmatian Coast.
Nice apartment with seaview
The apartment have a perfect location outside Brela. The apartment was clean and had a fully equipt kitchen. Perfect for 2 couples with two bedrooms and bathrooms. Big terrace with furniture and a stunning seaview. Good training to walk the stair to the beach.
Forbes Magazine has declared the stunning Brela beach to be the best in Europe! The town is set along the Makarska Riviera, also known as the Pearl of the Adriatic Coast because of its long beautiful beaches, turquoise clear waters and long stretches of promenade for leisurely walks.
Brela itself is a quiet genteel town with some wonderful traditional restaurants. The house is 2.5 km from Brela centre, approx a 25 min walk along a beautiful coastal path. The seaside promenade goes to Baška Voda in one direction and to Brela centre in the other direction. Along the promenade you can enjoy views of the sea and the islands in the distance in the many cafes along the route.
The beach is a 150m walk down a public path of steps, its clear aqua waters a treat to swim in. Beach goers can find a variety of activities along the beach to include parasailing, jetskiing, boating, snorkeling, beachside massage, or just walking or biking or rollerblading along the long seaside promenade.
Just close by in Omis is the Cetina river which offers rafting. Omis is a quaint historic town which dates back to the Roman period and is well worth a visit. Day trips to Mostar and Dubrovnik are well worth a visit. Makarska is an elegant town and is well known for its night life including live music nights.
For the adventure holiday maker there are opportunities to paraglide or rock climb or for keen walkers to trek the mountain Biokovo with its ancient villages along the path.
