A good base to discover the Border region.
A spacious, comfortable, immaculately clean cottage in a lovely position in Melrose. Walks along the River Tweed a few yards away from the property. It was also only a short walk into the centre of Melrose. I hope to visit again in the future.
Very clean and cosy
Lovely little cottage, would highly recommend
A lovely week spent in this cottage
We enjoyed our stay in this very comfortable cottage It was spotlessly clean and well equipped The area was so peaceful and convenient to Melrose. We really enjoyed the walks in the surrounding district . There was plenty of wildlife birds, rabbits and even a weasel chasing the rabbits in the garden.
Spacious, clean and tidy.
Spacious, clean and tidy. Well fenced off to keep the dogs safe and the car secure on the drive. Linen and towels provided with a good sized bath/shower. Although the bath was high sided and not practical for anyone short or inform.
Very nice, clean and tidy. Ideal for our needs.
Perfect location by the river. Hope to visit again sometime.
Clean property in ideal position for visiting the border towns.
Leather settee not comfortable and armchairs comfortable but a bit low for getting up from for older folk like us! Beds comfy. Great garden for the dog but beware rabbit visitors and gaps at bottom of back fence if your dog is a digger. Could do with more mugs, deeper cereal bowls and larger dinner plates. Easy walk into Melrose either along road or the lovely riverside path. Enjoyed our stay.
