Cozy family home

The house is located in Sa Pobla, a town about 15 minutes from the beaches of Alcudia, Las Gaviotas and Can Picafort; and about 20 minutes from the Tramuntana Range which was declared to World Heritage Site in 2010.

The house is outfitted with all modern conveniences. The back patio brings lovely dappled light from the bushy plants and its central lemon tree. Ideal for breakfasts and quiet dinners.

It features roomy bedrooms, a reading room, a recreation and TV room, a modern kitchen with gas stove, even a bike parking room.

The town of Sa Pobla has about 11,000 inhabitants, of whom the majority works in services, agriculture and tourism industries. It has several supermarkets (Mercadona: 10 minutes' walk), pharmacies, medical clinic and a Catholic Christian religious service. Car traffic is pretty easy since the town has a circular road on the outskirts which facilitates the entrance and exit to the town.

Previous guests to this cozy place have been welcomed personally. I have your concerns and desires in mind. Likewise, I prepare for you some products of our land: homemade honey, organic products and local confectionery.

Wonderful. A real gem and a great surprise with the size and decor of the apartment. Real Mallorca.

Arriving at the front of the property on the western edge of Sa Pobla it was hard to credit what lay inside. Surprise after surprise with its cool spaciousness, its beautiful furnishings and its accommodation: 4 dining areas including the courtyard garden, relaxed sitting areas, bedrooms and bathrooms. We thought we were in a palace.

Sa Pobla is well situated within easy reach of the coastlines of Alcuidia and Pollenca with their many attractions. Equally it is in easy reach of the many towns in the south and east of Mallorca. It is not touristy but does not lack a variety of bars, cafes and restaurants. It has 3, soon to be 4 supermarkets, one within easy walking distance of the house.

Sa Pobla has a very simple street plan. Very flat with arrow straight streets mostly arranged on a grid iron pattern. Difficult to get lost in. It can seem very quiet until you reach the main square Placa Major where suddenly it seems all of life is there.

Our neighbours were friendly and helpful. Miguel was exceptionally helpful with any minor problems we had as we settled in. He had a wealth of suggestions many of which we tried. He was generous with gifts of local produce and very welcoming into his Ca'n or Casa of which he is rightly proud.

Some days when we were out and about we decided that returning to enjoy the house was a better option than continuing our explorations.

We would return again without hesitation.

Nette Ferienwohnung

Uns hat es sehr gut in Miquels Wohnung gefallen. Das Apartment ist extrem großzügig über zwei Etagen geschnitten und der Innenhof ist sehr schön. Sa Pobla ist ein hübsches Städtchen und in das Zentrum läuft man ca. 10 Minuten.

Das Haus ist sehr lebhaft und etwas hellhörig, was uns aber nicht weiter gestört hat. Die Ausstattung und die Sauberkeit sind in Ordnung.

Sensationelle Wohnung mit hochwertigem Interieur

Damit hatten wir nicht gerechnet: eine mehrerer Zimmer umfassende Wohnung mit kunst- und geschmackvoller Einrichtung und Gemälden u.a. des Vermieters. Uns fehlte es an nichts. Umfassende Küchenausstattung, Bäder/Toiletten, Schlafzimmer, mehrere kleine Räume zum Verweilen - alles in Top-Zustand. Im Hofgarten mit seinem eigenen Brunnen, Zitronenbaum, Teich und Bepflanzung lässt es sich vorzüglich frühstücken. Sehr netter und umsichtiger Vermieter.

Fußläufig die Straße entlang kommt man auf einen schönen Marktplatz mit vielen guten Restaurants & Cafés (Paella + Tapas) – sonntags Markttag. Von Sa Pobla aus, dem Land der "1000 Windmühlen", kann man mit dem Mietwagen die Insel gut erkunden.

Diese Wohnung ist für alle, die nicht den Tourismusrummel brauchen, empfehlenswert.

Casa amplia, familiar y bien situada

Bonita casa en Sa Pobla, un lugar tranquilo y bien ubicado en la isla. La casa muy amplia, limpia y bien cuidada. Ideal en este caso para nuestra familia con 3 niños. Hemos pasado una semana fantástica en Mallorca, el trato con Miquel fue excelente, muy cercano y agradable, nos transmitió mucha confianza desde el primer momento. Sin duda, volveremos!!!
