Horseshoe Barns Holiday Cottages are based in the hamlet of Balk, on the border of the North York Moors National Park, with fantastic views of Sutton Banks and beautiful countryside. Balk is only a short drive from York or Harrogate and is surrounded by picturesque villages. The perfect place to cycle, walk or visit the numerous fantastic attractions in the area and if that's too much for you, why not relax, unwind and sip a glass of bubbly in the beautiful, private hot tub, right outside the cottage door!


The cottages are part of a converted barn which are accessed through a secure gated entrance has been renovated to a very high standard with oak beamed ceilings and a contemporary feel throughout.
The cottage has two bedrooms with a double bed and two single beds with crisp white linen There is also also a sofa bed in the lounge and therefore the cottage will sleep up to six guests (at an extra charge).

The lounges are well equipped with solid oak furniture and are well equipped with 55 inch 3D tv, Sky, 3D Bluray/DVD and a Bose surround system to give that cinema experienceThere is a range of movies, including the latest releases,available to borrow at no extra charge.

One cottage has an open plan kitchen/lounge/diner whilst the other has a separate kitchen. Both are equipped with a Delonghi range style cooker and has every modern convenience you could wish for, including dishwasher, fridge, freezer, washer, dryer,coffee maker. There is also Denby crockery and a range of high quality kitchen and cooking utensils such as Joseph Joseph and Bodum.

One cottage has a big double shower with side and overhead jets and Jack & Jill wash basins. The other cottage has a recently renovated and re tiled bathroom with brand new walk in shower and roll top style bath. The bathroom can be described as contemporary whilst maintaining that cottage feel. a range of complimentary toiletries and luxury white towels are provided for your use.

There is a garden designated especially for guests to enjoy with the use of rattan furniture and use of a BBQ.
