Quiet private 2 bed en suite apartment, cycle storage, pet friendly

A lovely fully furnished Apartment at Kinderlee Mill within the heart of Chisworth, a small hamlet adjoining the Village of Charlesworth is located 3 miles outside of Glossop town centre and to the south of the Etherow valley. The property is on the ground floor of the converted Mill and is in a wonderful secluded setting on the edge of the Peak National Park and the location is unrivalled and is a true outdoor enthusiast’s paradise, with the Trans Pennine & Pennine Trail and many other walks / bike rides straight from the front door. The award winning Lymefield Garden Centre & Tea room/Farm shop accessed via a short walk from the apartment past the Broad Mills Heritage site which has been carefully reclaimed and restored for visitors to enjoy. Local shops ½ mile away. Pub 5 minutes walk.

For guests who enjoy visiting stately homes, the Chatsworth Estate, Haddon Hall, etc can all be reached with 30 minutes as can the spa town of Buxton & Bakewell as well as Castleton and Edale and the stunning Hope valley. Alton Towers approx. 50 minutes

Manchester can be reached via a direct train service from either Broadbottom or Glossop (approx 30 minutes train journey).

The property itself consists of entrance Hall & Cloakroom ideal for those muddy boots or bikes and a spacious open plan living area with a contemporary and stylish kitchen, which includes fully integrated appliances as well as an hob and electric oven, microwave, dishwasher & washer/dryer, iron, ironing board.

The 2 double bedrooms both have en-suite and are generous in size.

The Apartment at the Mill was just Perfect

From the moment we opened the door until we reluctantly departed a week later, everything was just perfect. Andrea was a wonderful host, providing everything we needed and more. The apartment itself was beautifully appointed and furnished with everything holidaymakers could require. The location was ideal for our touring around the Peak district and beyond. All in all it was a "home away from home" and we would recommend it to anyone wanting a base to explore this beautiful area.

Apartment was excellent.

Great location for hiking and enjoying the beautiful countryside. The flat was in excellent condition. We arrived late in the day and were thrilled we did not have to go out to purchase breakfast items. Andrea had provided eggs, bread, butter, cheese and wine. In addition, there was a selection of teas and coffee. The kitchen had everything you needed if you wished to cook meals in. Definitely will visit again when we are in the U.K.

Fantastic Apartment

We had a lovely stay at Kinderlee. Apartment very clean, spacious and well equipped in a quiet location on edge of the Peak District but only 30 minutes from Manchester. A welcome pack of bread, butter, milk and wine was much appreciated. Good communication with Andrea making us feel very welcome. Would definitely consider staying again when visiting our daughter.

Fantastic place

Really lovely appartment, owner very prompt in dealing with queries beforehand and left us a lovely welcome hamper on arrival. Appartment very clean and has everything you will need. We stayed for 4 nights, lovely area, close to great walks, we took our dog and it worked out very well; a small porch where she could sit to dry off before coming inside. Chinese takeaway recommended by owner was very good, ate in a couple of times and a great meal at the Lamb Inn at Chinley which was around a 15 min drive away, A lovely country pub. Would recommend this as an ideal place to stay.

Spacious, luxurious apartment

We had a wonderful stay at Kinderlee. The apartment is beautifully decorated and furnished with lots of lovely touches to make it feel homely. The two large bedrooms with ensuites and dressing rooms meant there was plenty of space to unpack and make yourself at home. Everything was immaculately clean and well-maintained. Andrea even left us milk, bread, wine and chocolates on arrival which were very welcome! Parking is convenient and although this is a ground floor flat, it is very peaceful. Andrea was on hand with any information needed. The apartment in well located to access various areas of the Peak District and is a warm and homely base to come back to. We enjoyed visiting Derwent dam and had a leisurely and excellent value 3 course lunch at The Midland in Marple.
