Former convent whose origins date back to the '500, has always been a place of active work in the countryside: vineyards and olive trees were the traditional crops and these have remained today.
His twenty hectares, all planted, relaxing on the moraine hills overlooking the shore Southeast of Lake Garda, in the immediate vicinity of Valeggio, just 5 km from Peschiera del Garda: in the heart of the production area of the Bardolino wines and Custoza.
Previously House Marzago must have been the site of a nunnery, from which it draws the characteristic of closed court, fully fenced, unusual in rural Lombard Venetian courts. The religious, within the walls, they had everything needed for sustenance: pig, pigeon, chicken coop, vegetable garden (now the garden to the east) with aviary, stables for cattle (the current cellar). The outbuilding at the court (near the parking lot) was intended as a stable for horses and conigliaia.
The villa is completely renovated and elegantly furnished with the style and traditions of the Fabiano family that has preserved the typical characteristics of the "country house", and now shares it with those who want to stay in a quiet rural place in an atmosphere of conviviality . They are at guests' disposal 6 comfortable and spacious en suite rooms, equipped with all amenities, two of them with kitchenette, for a total of 20 beds.
In the large room with fireplace or under the porch is served breakfast; a typical wine-tasting cellar welcomes guests for the presentation and tasting of our wines and other products we produce.
