Superb Apartment right in the heart of Rhodes Old Town!

  • 5 of 5

Myself and my girlfriend had a lovely stay in this apartment. The owner Faith was fantastic at helping us organise our trip and there were loads of leaflets and booklets about things to do whilst in Rhodes in the apartment too.

The location couldn't have been better, as it's nice and quiet at the apartment but still right in the heart of the old town. It is a stones throw from the centre of the Rhodes Old Town, with loads of brilliant bars and restaurants. I recommend researching the restaurants and booking them in advance to get a good one. Our favourite was Sissitio, which is probably the closest restaurant to the apartment. Other good ones were, Jivino and Auvergne Café. One to avoid is Socratous Garden, as nice as it looks the food is terrible and staff weren't friendly. The beach is a little further away, but not out of walking distance at about 15mins, it's also a nice walk through the old town and across the sea front.

The interior of the apartment was very cosy, comfortable and incredibly pretty, the pictures do not lie! It had all the facilities we needed, even the wifi was pretty fast! The shower was a good temperature and powerful too, which is always nice.

I recommend you do a boat trip (if you don't get sea sick) one day as it's a really nice way to see the surrounding beaches, which are much quieter than Elli beach. If you do go to Elli beach, the east side is much noisier with music playing and lots of people and places to eat, and the east side is much quieter with more space and no music. Depends what you prefer.

I did forget an item when leaving the apartment and Faith kindly posted it back to my address in the UK, so I am grateful for that, thank you!

Couldn't have had a more pleasant stay!

Cosy hideaway in Old Town

  • 5 of 5

We had a lovely 5 days in Rhodes Old Town staying in this cosy property. Located away from the busy streets it is quiet and away from the noise, but still very much within walking distance to the town´s attractions. The apartment was clean, well decorated and well equipped, with an excellent kitchen. The washing machine in particular was especially convenient! The feel of the apartment was very much in tune with the atmosphere of the Old Town with the original medieval stone staircase apparently intact. There are candles everywhere!

There is a good WiFi connection available everywhere except the kitchen and bathroom due to the thick walls, and the high ceilings and air conditioning helped keep the property at a pleasant temperature. The bed was quite hard, which suits some better than others! Luckily there are plenty of cushions to steal from the sofas for those who struggle with hard mattresses. The only thing this property lacked was a dedicated outdoor space, like a balcony.

Faith, the property manager, was extremely helpful throughout the booking and stay. She replied very fast to emails (often within minutes), answering all our questions and making sure our holiday was as convenient as possible. At the day of arrival, Faith met us at an easily found location in Old Town and showed us to the property, which would otherwise have been a struggle. She found a car rental company in town for us when we wanted to rent a car. We were allowed to stay as long as we needed to on our department day. There is a little folder containing information about the apartment along with recommendations for restaurants in Rhodes Town.

Overall, very charming apartment and extremely good value for money - far superior quality to a hotel for this price.

  • 5 of 5

Owner's Response: Thank you so much for your kind words. It would be a pleasure to have you all back again in the property especially since you enjoyed it so much and left it spotless of course!! I'm always amazed myself at the peacefullness of the property even though it's right in the centre of the Old Town!

Sehr schönes kleines Haus direkt in der Altstadt

  • 5 of 5
