"La Petite Grange"... our pretty stone built gite is situated in an elevated position on the limestone "causse" above the pretty village of St Martin Labouval, only 4 kilometres from the Lot river and a short distance from the Célé Valley .It is the perfect place from which to explore the delights of the "Parc Naturel Régional des Causses du Quercy " Nearby St.Cirq the prettiest village in France last year is only 8 kms away & Cahors, Figeac & Villefranche de Rouergue are all about 40 mins drive. The famous Peche Merle caves are about 15kms.
We have 2 acres of safe gardens with a 12 x 6 mtr shared pool & plenty of shady terraces in which to relax and enjoy your holiday.

Fantastic family getaway

We spent a fabulous week here in August and definitely did not want to leave! The gite is excellently equipped and well presented. The grounds are beautiful with lots of space for children to run around and play. The swimming pool surrounded by the gardens and with views of fields was immaculately clean and a great place to spend sunny afternoons. Nearby there are plenty of walks including one down the lane to an amazing view of the limestone causses. Little touches like washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets were much appreciated. We received a very warm welcome from the owners and nothing was too much trouble for them. Locally there are beautiful small towns and villages with markets and bike hire facilities and the town of Cajarc has supermarket and restaurants. St Cirq Lapopie is a must see. The highlight for our children was the owners' dog who became a firm family friend! If you want peace and quiet in beautiful surroundings, then you will love it here.

Idyllic Retreat

From the warm greeting on arrival, to our departure, as if we were old friends, we cannot recommend this property and it’s patrons highly enough. The gite is located in a lovely setting and you feel as though you are far, far away from anywhere. The views are amazing and there is a feeling of peace and tranquility. However, it is actually very convenient to visit many places of interest and beauty, including the much acclaimed St Cirq la Poppie. The nearest small town, Cajarc, has excellent facilities, a beautiful historic centre and some excellent bars and restaurants. There is also a plan d’eau from where you can swim or take a canoe. The gite is clean and well equipped. It is nicely decorated and very comfortable. Indeed it felt like home from home. There is a very nice terrace if you like to eat outside as well as an inside dining area. The grounds, garden and pool are lovely. They are well maintained and cared for. We will definitely return to this property (probably time and time again) and would most certainly recommend it to family and friends.

Traumhafte Ruhe in toller Lage

Ein sehr gepflegtes Objekt. Die Einrichtung lässt nichts vermissen. Man kann sehr viele Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Umgebung besuchen. Auch ein Ausflug z.B. nach Rocamadour oder zur Gouffre de Padirac ist ohne weiteres machbar. Die Besitzer sind sehr zuvorkommend und bemüht den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten. Die Terrasse hat einen Gasgrill und man kann jederzeit den Pool benutzen oder in den Liegestühlen herrlich entspannen. In 10 bis 15 Minuten sind mit dem Auto zahlreiche Resaurants zu erreichen.

Gîte paisible pour amoureux de la nature

Accueil en fran-glais très sympathique avec beaucoup de confiance de la part des hôtes. Un gîte extrêmement bien équipé, on se sent comme à la maison! Les alentours sont charmants, avec des petits villages pittoresques, des balades aux vues imprenables et le lot pour se rafraîchir! Sans compter qu’au mois d’août, de nombreuses fêtes de villages s’organisent à proximité… On reviendra c’est sûre!
