Nice flat !

This was just what my husband and I were looking for. The flat is located in Stockbridge, close to bus stops, grocery stores, and places to eat. Walking to centre city takes about 15 minutes. We arrived to the flat and found some Scottish treats. A detailed book lists information about the flat as well as other important information such as restaurants, places to visit and medical access.

The kitchen was perfect. We stayed for 3 weeks, so we made most of our meals in the flat.

The Water of Leith Walk is close by, the arboretum within walking distance and there is a nice park close by.

Certainly recommend this flat if you are looking at visitng Edinburgh.

Great, little place

We enjoy this apartment in stockbridge, it was great. The owners were very easy to work with and checked on us to make sure we got it Ok and that everything was good. We enjoyed the area around the apartment especially The waters of Leith. We will stay here again!

The flat was cozy for our 3 day stay. We felt right at home. Provides everything you need for you stay and a few bonus items. Great location for exploring Edinburgh. We had a fantastic time.

Wonderful location, great owners, lovely flat.

We absolutely loved our stay here. I agree with another reviewer that the photographs don't quite do the flat justice - it is cute and cozy and well equipped with everything you could possibly need for your stay. We loved the location in the heart of Stockbridge, just steps from many shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants. It is a short 10-15 minute walk to downtown/Princes Street Gardens/etc. and only minutes from the Royal Botanic Gardens, my new favourite place in Edinburgh. The owners were wonderfully accommodating and made our stay even better, thanks to their thoughtful and personal touches. I would highly recommend staying here.

Great property. Ideal location for us as we like to walk.

We really enjoyed this property. This was our first trip to Edinburgh and the Stockbridge location was ideal for our 4 day stay. It offered us the opportunity for our 20-25 minute walk to get downtown and has two great bar/restaurants and a grocery store and other great amenities within minutes from the door. If given the opportunity I would have rated the property at 4.5 and the only reason for a 4.5 as opposed to 5.0 was a minor problem with the door locks which Mr. Culley reacted to and fixed immediately.

If available, I would defintely use this property again.

Great flat with perfect location a little away from the main tourist area

We arrived following the excellent directions. The flat was clean a advertised. It is well furnished with a kitchen stocked with coffee, tea, condiments etc. It is a short walk to the bus stop and there are many places to eat within a short walking distance as well as grocery stores, pubs (especially Hector's) etc. We had a wonderful time and appreciated the items provided on arrival - milk for my morning tea, cookies, flowers etc. We would stay again and recommend the flat! Thanks Cliff for a great experience.

The City Centre is easily reached by foot through the World Heritage New Town (15 mins) or by frequent bus service.

In the midst of the city, Stockbridge has a sense of a village and provides an eclectic mix of pubs, bars, restaurants and cafes catering for all tastes. The shops range from unique to speciality, deli to supermarket, bargain/charity to chic – catering for all your retail needs.

One can also get a hint of countryside by strolling along the scenic Water of Leith, the river connecting Dean Village to the west to Leith to the east, taking in the Gallery of Modern Art and Murrayfield on the way.

Local parks include the beautiful Botanical Gardens and Inverleith Park and are both only 5 minute walks from the flat.

A stone’s throw away are the Glenogle Swimming Baths –a modern pool in a unique Victorian setting.
