This spacious ground floor detached half villa is situated in the tranquil countryside on a 1800m² south facing old vineyard in a village. It has beautiful views towards the sea to the south (just over horizon) and sole use of the 10 x 5 m infinity swimming pool. The villa was built on a slope & reflects this in the design with slightly different levels therefore not appropriate for wheelchairs or young children. The villa has its own front entrance and secure parking. It can sleep up to 4 people. This stylish and well presented 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom (3 WCs) property has a large open plan dining & sitting room with views east, south & west & a well equipped kitchen.The villa is tastefully furnished in a contemporary style and provides English and French TV, DVD, music centre with ability to plug in ipods, ipads etc, WiFi. Outside is a private large shady terrace ideal for eating outside with summer kitchen & BBQ, plus changing room, wc and solar shower.

La villa est aménagée avec beaucoup de goût et très confortablre. sa piscine (à consommé sans modération) très bien entretenue comme la villa. La propriétaire très sympatique. Nous avons passé 3 semaines idylliques. Je conseille cette location à qui veut passer de superbes vacances
Our immediate reaction when we opened the shutters of Sarah's house, after a long, hot two-day drive from Calais was - WOW! The interior is cool, spacious and tastefully decorated. But it is the exterior which is the star attraction. The photographs do not do justice to just how lovely the outdoor area is, with spectacular views over the village of Peret and the countryside beyond. Floating in the infinity pool in the stillness of the afternoon felt like pure heaven. The villa itself is well-located and a great base for the many tourist attractions that the Herault region has to offer - entre terre et mer! There is a small epicerie in the centre of Peret village where you can buy basic provisions and the compulsory morning pastries and baguettes. The supermarkets in Clermont are about 20 minutes drive away. The surrounding countryside is perfect for cycling so do bring your bikes. A highlight was waking up at dawn and watching the sunrise from the lower terrace as the two resident bats swooping overhead for a final feed before heading back to the shed to sleep. All in all, this is a perfect location for a relaxing, chilled-out summer holiday. We will definitely return.
This was our third year at a most remarkable villa in Peret. From the moment we walked in everything was spotless and tidy.
A well- appointed kitchen served our every need as it was very well equipped.
Outside, there was a beautiful barbecue and shaded seating area with an outside toilet which lead onto the lovely infinity pool area, again with plenty of seating.
The addition of the balcony and seating arrangement made wonderful early morning dining, watching the sun rise over the hills and across the valley.
The village itself is a stereotypical French village with polite and very friendly locals. There is a small convenience store where you can purchase fresh fruit, vegetables, croissants and baguettes.
Overall, it was our third and equally most enjoyable two week stay at the villa.
Had a fabulous week in this well appointed modern villa. Greeted by very friendly owner on arrival and impressed by facilities and finish of the property. Kitchen well equipped, beds comfy, 3 bathrooms and excellent outside space with fabulous pool and shady sitting area overlooking a great view across the valley. Village is typical sleepy French place with a useful small general store and good boulangerie. Cannot say muhc about the surrounding area as we stayed at the villa and enjoyed the pool, the barbecue and the great September weather. Ideal if you want a relaxing week deep in the South of France, recommended.
My family and I spent a wonderful week here in August. The house was spotlessly clean when we arrived and was wonderfully laid out with everything you could wish for. The barbeque / outside dining / pool area was just perfect. We will definitely be back.

Im Ort kann man alles für den täglichen Bedarf kaufen. Natürlich nicht ganz so billig.
Für die größeren Einkäufe gibt es im Clermont 2 Supermärkte.
Restaurants sind in ausreichender Zahl vorhanden und auf kurzen Wegen zu erreichen.
Zum Meer ist es auch nicht so weit. Beziers zu besuchen lohht sich auf jeden Fall.
Der Lac du Salagou ist ebenfalls einen Ausflug wert, wie eigentlich die ganze umliegende Landschaft zum - wer es denn mag - wandern einlädt!!
Situated with ease to local airports, Péret is set amongst extensive vineyards and provides an ideal centre for walking & cycling or just relaxing & doing nothing. During the summer it is possible to go out every night to the numerous outdoor festivals. There are fantastic restaurants from local simple fare to Michelin starred. Try freshwater swimming in the Lac du Salagou (15 min) with the hire of windsurfers & boats or take a drive to the coast to eat seafood & swim in the Mediterranean (40 min). The Wednesday market in the nearby town of Clermont L’Hérault offers a gastronomic experience - from wine, oysters, fish, cheeses, and hams to olives, figs, cherries and mushrooms. The countryside is dramatic - volcanoes around Lac du Salagou, the “chaos” of Cirque de Mourèze and the splendid Cirque de Navacelles. The medieval pilgrimage village of St. Guilhem-le-Désert and town of Pézenas are also beautiful. The breathtaking Millau bridge is an hour to the north.

Price: The house sleeps 4 people in two bedrooms.
A non-refundable deposit of 33% of the total rent due will be payable on reservation. A booking contract will be sent to confirm your holiday dates at the villa once the deposit has cleared with the bank.
All payments for the villa must be made by bank transfer.
