I stayed in this studio apartment in Soho with 2 friends of mine for a week. This was our first visit to London the weather wasn’t great but apartment was fabulous for the week, great central location, close to a tube station, retail shopping and walking distance to all the sights in London.
Inside the apartment everything was clean including sheets and towels that were provided for us and the appliances were working.
We had no problem with the noise in this apartment.
Roberto was standing outside the apartment waiting for us, we were running late. He talked us through the apartment and things; he was very knowledgeable about London so that was very helpful.
If I was to return to London I would like to stay here again.
The location of this apartment is great. Right in the heart of Soho close to a few different tube stations (and lines) and 3 minutes walk to Oxford Street. That is probably the last good thing I can say about it. Although the location is good it is VERY noisy so if you are looking for peace and quiet this is not the place for you as the street below is bustling no matter what time of day or night. We expected this given the location so were fine with it. The things we were not happy with were the apartment was not very clean (especially considering they add on a cleaning fee on top of the advertised price once you go to book it) dust and dirt in all of the corners we had to go around with the dust buster provided. Wifi may as well not be included and the only place you get signal is standing in the hall near the lift (outside the apartment), we also had to request the password a few times and didn't receive it till around 4 hours after check in. Bed was horrible with springs digging in to your side. Kitchen facilities were fine but they had folding plastic chairs but no table so had to eat on the couch with our plates on our laps. When I contacted the owner Roberto for assistance with a few things he did not seem to care that our experience was not good. Wouldn’t be able to recommend this place unfortunately.
Great location and comfortable apartment which made our stay all the more enjoyable. It was a bonus being able to get around central London on foot and nip back quickly when our son needed his afternoon sleep. Everything that we needed for our stay was provided and the owner took the time to provide with us with useful information when we first arrived.
Although we found the kitchen a wee bit small it did have everything that we needed to cater for a toddler and cook meals.
It's always a bit of a hit and miss affair when trying to find accommodation that meets one's expectations/ needs, so finding this place has taken away a lot of the hassle for when we visit London next time. We would definitely recommend this apartment.
Just a short walking distance from all the main sights this studio apartment is ideally located for discovering the best of London, for reaching all London landmarks, and travelling to/from airports and railway terminals.
Situated in the very heart of London's lively and vibrant West End entertainment district, within 2 minutes of a multitude of theatres, restaurants, cafes, bars and pubs, Oxford Street's fashion shops, a supermarket, and the trees and grass of ancient Soho Square.
Soho is only 10 minutes to walk across, and is served by 4 underground stations - the nearest are just 5 minutes walk away - on the Central, Northern, Piccadilly, Victoria and Bakerloo lines, which will take you far and wide across the capital.
These run to all railway terminals including Eurostar, and onwards to airports - the Piccadilly line goes direct to all Heathrow airport terminals.
There are dozens of very frequent bus routes (many 24/7) on the main roads surrounding Soho.
The famous 'Licensed Black London Cabs' can be flagged down, or booked by phone, email or apps.
Dean Street is a bustling side road with minimal through-traffic, which encourages use by pedestrians. The entire area buzzes with streetlife in the evenings particularly on Fridays and Saturdays, and features an amazing choice of restaurants, trendy cafes, lively bars and busy olde-worlde pubs on your doorstep. There are numerous theatres, nightclubs and other entertainment - Ronnie Scott's world famous jazzclub is located in the next street, and you may well spot celebrities popping into one of the seven 'members clubs' nearby. Just two streets away in Charing Cross Road is Foyles, the world's largest bookstore.
If you are enjoy walking when sightseeing, in less than 20 minutes you can take in Buckingham Palace, the Royal Parks and the Serpentine, Madame Tussauds, River Thames and Southbank (London Eye, BFI and National Theatre), Big Ben and Downing Street, British Museum, Covent Garden, Christies and Sothebys, National Gallery, Selfridges and John Lewis department stores, Bond Street, Chinatown, Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly Circus, Leicester Square, or many other delightful destinations.
