A luxury 2 bedroom air-conditioned penthouse apartment situated beach side of Cabo Roig. The living accommodation is on one floor with a balcony terrace with table and chairs overlooking the beautiful mature well kept communal gardens and communal pool. There are integral stairs leading to a large roof terrace with table and chairs and a built- in BBQ to enjoy those relaxing alfresco evenings looking out to sea. On the same level to the rear, is another terrace were you can watch the sun go down, with mountain and sea views.

There is wifi available.

Electronic gates give access to underground parking, and a lift directly to the front door.

There is a security intercom from the main gate direct to the apartment, and full use of owners storage room, containing a numerous supply of chairs and sun loungers.

This apartment is within 2 min walk of the famous Cabo Roig strip of bars and restaurants and 5min walk to the beautiful blue flag beach of Campoamor.

We had a fantastic time, thank you. It was just what we needed. The area was lovely and we really enjoyed the beach and the restaurants on the strip, although I did cremate some local livestock on the barbecue a few nights.

The apartment was wonderful. It was very easy to settle in straight away and Jeremy was excellent at showing us around. The apartment had everything that we needed and we contributed to the growing mass of beach items in the store room! The beds were comfy and everything was clean and tidy.

Stayed for one week in May 2018. Very quiet with most of the apartments empty or for sale.

KEYS - email from owner said Key A is for ... Key B is for ... Key C is for ... When I arrived keys were colour coded! The yellow key opened the green entry gate with the green key opening the front door to the apartment block. Would be far easier if the keys matched the colour of the doors/gates. Key to gate sometimes stuck in the lock and it was difficult to open. I had to remember to take the rather large key fob for the pool/beach access gate to ensure I would get into the apartments.

APARTMENT CLEANLINESS - hmmm, was left a dirty cloth and sponge in the kitchen. Disgusting! Considering the rather hefty cleaning fee I would have assumed new clothes and sponges would have been left. Kitchen work surfaces rather dirty too. Luckily I always take plenty anti-bacterial wipes with me. Initial cleaning fee was quoted as 60euro. As I was holidaying on my own for the week I asked for a reduced cleaning fee at the end of my stay. Was initially told the 60euro would still apply (after a few emails to the owner). Then received email to say cleaning fee had risen to 70euro but I would be charged 55euro. Sorry but I would only have paid the 60euro at the most as this was the amount quoted at time of booking so I only received a 5euro discount - gee thanks! There were what appeared to be old (washed) blood stains on the double duvet cover. Also the bathroom had a funny smell. Noticed a previous review had also said this and it appears only an air freshener was left in the bathroom to try and combat this. I probably left the apartment cleaner than what it was when I arrived.

COMMUNICATION FROM OWNER - this was rather slow at times. I had to send a second message on a few occasions when no reply was received to my first email. Also I had requested a late checkout and on the second email was advised to speak to "Jeremy" when I arrived. No mention of who "Jeremy" was or where I would see him! Had to email owner during my stay to confirm checkout time. Contract was with owner so they should have advised in the first instance.

Would I return? NO!

Nice apartment with lovely views.

The title sums it up. Enjoyed our stay. Thought it would be a tight fit for any more than 4 people. Underground garage was handy and in May we had the pool to ourselves most of the time.

If I had to pick up on something then it was probably the toilet in the property was quite smelly a lot of the time ,like a drain smell but apart from that everything was perfect

Delightful apartment with lovely roof terrace in a great location

We spent four weeks in Marie's apartment Feb/Mar 2018 and had a wonderful time. The roof terrace is great for sunbathing and eating alfresco with a view of the sea and amazing sunrises. The grounds are lovely with a nice pool and the coast path is just outside the gate with great walks to several beaches. Local supermarkets and many restaurants are just five minutes walk away. We parked our hire car in the underground garage and only went out a couple of times to visit nearby nature reserves to see flamingos at the salt lakes and enjoy a walk in the mountains. We will definitely be staying here again :-)

Lovely location

Lovely location. On the Cabo roig strip, with bars and eateries all close on hand. Walk round the corner for fabulous beach. Local market on Thursday literally in the next street, don’t forget to buy your delicious ‘pollo, (tasty roast chicken) and fresh veg. Local bus service every 30 mins ( bit hit and miss) but only 1.35 euros each. Local taxis to torrevieja 13 euros or la Xenia boulevard 6 euros. La Xenia boulevard is walkable approx 30 mins. We walked all over the place, and we are aged 58 and 64. Supermarket just up the road. So everything is on the doorstop depending on what you are after. Apartment comfy and has all you need in kitchen to rustle up a meal if you don’t want to eat out. We enjoyed many a breakfast on the sun facing balcony off the lounge. Roof top solarium a god send even in January, little sun trap. We were blessed with good weather. Lovely clean looking swimming pool but in January I didn’t venture in. But I was tempted! All in all a good value holiday retreat.
