This adorably refined nest for two will, thanks to its views over Palermo, the surrounding hills and the sea, make your holiday truly unforgettable. The apartment is situated in the historic centre of Palermo on the 4th and top floor (serviced by a lift) of a fine, recently restored town mansion directly overlooking, and with main entrance on, Piazza Bellini. It rubs shoulders with the fine old Santa Maria dell’Ammiraglio church, known as “La Martorana” and the splendid example of Sicilian– Norman architecture of the adjoining San Cataldo church with its red domed roof considered a symbol of Palermo. A short ally leads into Piazza Pretoria or “Piazza della Vergonia” (for the supposed shamefulness of its abundant nude statues) housing the Town Hall. The apartment is made up of a large open plan living room with breakfast/kitchen area. A modern wooden staircase leads up to the splendid panoramic terrace furnished with a table, four chairs and a large sunshade, a truly perfect place to enjoy the views over the city while breakfasting, or in the cool of the evening over a glass of wine. The separate bedroom and adjoining bathroom lead off the living area through open access. The apartment has been recently renovated, decorated and furnished with style as befitting its prestigious setting with the aim of affording a comfortable and relaxing stay in the heart of the old city.

Incredible, terrific design, simple, clean, priveledged...,
Beautiful apartment, great views, friendly and helpful people
The location is brilliant: in the heart of the historic centre of Palermo, on the beautiful and engaging, spacious and pleasantly busy Piazza Bellini, directly adjacent the Quattro Canti. The apartment occupies the top floor of a recently very beautifully renovated and refurbished building that used to be a theatre. It has a great view and its roof terrace an astoundingly all round view of the city, the sea and the mountains, while it looks down upon La Martorana and San Cataldo Churches. The apartment is excellently equipped with a spacious living room with ample window-doors that can be opened and have anti-insect screens (2 out of 4) and wooden panels to keep the sun out (all 4 of them), modern kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, ample cooking implements (although we never cooked a meal during our week long stay: Sicily has such riches in food to offer that it is a pity not to explore those to the full, together with the excellent Sicilian wines), comfortable chair and sofa and a large table to work on if so wanted. The only downside of the table is its support against which one tends to bump ones knees rather painfully. The bedroom has a good double bed and ample wardrobe space. The bathroom is efficient and well equipped, but has no window and therefore relies entirely on artificial ventilation. Perhaps a stronger ventilation system might be considered: we left it on for much longer than we spent in the bathroom to obtain fresh air. As is the case with the entrance door to the building (a small door in a much bigger one, which during the day is open in its entirety), the entrance to the terrace requires stooping, but I found this no problem (being 6 foot 3, or 190 cm). The apartment is on the 4th floor. On the ground floor a lift is reached after mounting some ten comfortable steps, this was very convenient. The building is clean and a porter is in place, who is very helpful and friendly, among others in securing transport by taxi to the airport as we left. Highly recomended.
Perfectly located in central Palermo with modern amenities and fabulous rooftop terrace.
Great property: beautifully updated building right near the main 4 corners of old town. Natural light abounds, great kitchen and rooftop views. Reliable communication with host. Would stay here again! Grazie de tutti, Paola!
The apartment is lovely. Perfect location. Clean, modern, beautiful terrace

Excellent Luxury Apartment
Clean, well equipped and centrally located for all the main sites in Palermo
My wife and I had a great experience in this apartment, it was just as is shown in the pictures. Paola met us at the apartment even though we were somewhat late arriving. The location was great, we walked everywhere. The apartment was very well equipped; Paola even got us a coffee maker and coffee prior to our arrival. The ambiance of the apartment was beautiful, with lovely artwork and bronzes. The furnishings were very comfortable, including the bed and pillows. In fact, we liked the foam pillows so much, we are buying them for our home. The upstairs terrace offers beautiful rooftop views of the city and the sea. We enjoyed watching the sunrise each morning from the east-facing full length windows. There is lots of natural light. The building was very secure with a concierge during the day in the lobby. The elevator worked great. The food in the restaurant at the entrance to the apartment was always good and the people friendly. We think anyone would enjoy this beautiful unit in a wonderfully remodeled historic building. There is so much to see, wine to drink and great food to eat.
