The accommodation is open plan living at its very finest, with large sunny windows, open plan kitchen, lounge and diner. The apartment is air conditioned with surround sound and internal vacuum system. Bathrooms are modern with exotic marble floors and walls. The living area is tastefully furnished and has natural polished stone floors. The bedrooms are comfortably furnished and have wooden floors with ample fitted wardrobes.

Sao Martinho do Porto, a small traditional Portuguese fishing village, sits on the edge of a spectacular natural shell shaped bay protected from the Atlantic, so the warm, calm and safe swimming water is perfect for families & ideal for learning to windsurfing & sail. Lovely apartment

The apartment was spacious and had everything we needed. There was a lack of information on handover regarding the appliances and what to do about the general rubbish. The swimming pool was not heated as advertised, this was a great disappointment and one of the reasons we booked the apartment. The location was good, a short walk to the town centre and beach. Good cafes nearby and whilst parking was provided in the underground parking we did not near to use it as there was always space on the street outside the apartment. The only other negative was the settees which are definitely past their best and really need to be replaced. The beds are comfortable, the blinds a great asset to allow a lie in and the block is generally nice and quiet.

Great apartment, great town

We really enjoyed our stay in Kevin's apartment.

The directions to the apartment seemed a touch out of date but it's easy enough to find - it's right across the road from the Hotel Santo Antonio Da Baia (where my parents enjoyed their stay which overlapped with ours!) on the rua Comandante Alves.

The apartment was spotless and ideal for us as a family of four including two young children. Kitchen was well equipped, allowing us to cook properly a few nights. The bathrooms functioned well. The beds were very comfortable.

The sofas let this apartment down a little - they were peeling and shed flakes of whatever they were made of all over the floor constantly. I can't see any way of solving the problem other than replacing them (the throws on them were not a suitable solution!).

TV/DVD worked, though we didn't really use it, and we were so pleased to have wifi available for our stay - thank you!

The balcony faces east, so you get the morning sun, bu unfortunately the sun often doesn't break through till a little later in the day in SMP so not so many breakfasts in the sun as we'd envisaged! We used the air con a couple of times, but usually not really needed.

Pool area was great and common stair was kept very clean. Nicola the agent was also very helpful throughout our stay.

The location of the apartment is ideal for anything - a short walk to the beach either by the main road or via the charming older part of town and lift down to the front. The market is a few minutes' walk away and likewise the big Intermarche supermarket and a mini-market in the old town. There are also bakeries and cafes really close by, as well as all the amentities of the town down by the beach - we went back and forth usually a couple of times a day. The beach is fab, and the town is really lovely for a slightly different beach holiday or as a base for exploring. We particularly enjoyed visiting Obidos and the beach at Foz do Arelho.

Schöne Wohnung, nah am Stadtkern

Die Wohnung ist sehr konfortabel und modern eingerichtet. Die Räume sind groß und hell. Leider haben die Badezimmer keine Fenster. Dadurch, dass die Wohnung mitten in der Stadt liegt, kann man Vieles zu Fuß erledigen (Einkaufen, auch auf dem Markt, Strand...). Super war der Parkplatz in der Tiefgarage und der Gemeinschaftspool. Morgens kann man bei Sonnenschein auf dem Balkon frühstücken. Leider hatten wir auch ein paar nebelige Tage dabei. Im August ist der Ort sehr voll, so dass es ratsam ist im Restaurant zu reservieren. Alles in Allem ein schöner, erholsamer Urlaub.

Superbe appartement

Nous sommes très content de nôtre sejour passé dans l'appartement de Kevin McHardy , il est situé dans résidence récente, est très bien équipé et dispose d'une grande surface habitable .Un supermarché est prôche, environ 300 mètres et le centre ville à moins d'un kilomètre (la position gps sur carte n'étant pas la bonne sur le site homelidays)La piscine en Fin Avril n'était pas chauffée.En résumé ,une excellente adresse pour passer de bonnes vacnces.
