Character 3 bedroom house with courtyard garden and pool

Traditional Burgundy Village House furnished with charm and character to provide spacious and very comfortable accommodation for 6 persons. Cot & high chair available'

The property is entered through a private and gated courtyard garden to the house entrance which is accessed up a stone staircase to the house which is elevated above a cellar. The entrance leads directly to a charming and spacious living and sitting room with a Burgundy stone fireplace and wood burning stove, stone floor and an oak beamed ceiling. The dining kitchen is fitted with floor units and worktops, free standing units and standard white goods including a coffee maker. Also on this level there is a bedroom, shower room, toilet and access to a large leisure/play room with table tennis. second sitting room, 2 bedrooms, bathroom, shower room and toilet. In addition, there is a garage.

The swimming pool is located in an enclosed private garden which is opposite the courtyard. The pool is 8m x 4m and goes from 1m to 1.5m deep.

Swimming Pool: The swimming pool is available from May to September and has a heating system designed to heat the pool to a sufficient temperature for swimming. The pool is situated in a detached garden opposite the main house and it is necessary to cross a small road with very little passing traffic. Around the pool there are chairs, a table and loungers for relaxing. In addition there is a pool house with a summer kitchen with a fridge, kettle, toaster, hot & cold water, toilet, microwave and a gas BBQ. The pool depth is 1 metre to 1.5 metres and the garden and pool area is private for the use of rental guest.

Amazing property pictures do not do justice..

This property is beautiful, much larger and nicer than photos show. Has everything you need to prepare food, eat by the pool and relax. The house is old and has exposed beams, rock walls and lovely landscaping. Really a gem of a home.

House at La Creuse

The listing description of this house was very accurate - indeed, the house was even better than described. It is a beautiful spacious old house, very well-equipped and extremely comfortable. We were particularly taken with the swimming pool area across the road. The pool house was marvellous, with its own kitchen and fridge. The astroturf area next to the pool appealed to our two boys who could play football and boules. An English friend of the owners lives nearby and he helped when we had a problem with the pool. The nearby medieval chateau was within walking distance. The town of Couches, with its two restaurants, was further but only a 30 minute walk away. And the southern Burgundy countryside around is simply beautiful. A fine place to stay.

delightful secret in the most beatiful landscape

We did not know the area or the house in advance, and therefore did not know what to expect - but we were all very pleasantly surprised!

The most charming and pesonally restored house, spacious, secluded, private, luxourius surroundings with all the owners little tips for a perfect holiday. The nearby village is charming and contains the most of what you need such as a baker, a small supermarket and a couple of restaurants.

This property can be only highly recommended - go there, and you never want to leave!!

Refundable Damage Deposit £178.57

The cost of cleaning and laundry is included in the rental rate,but if any additional cleaning is required, this may be deducted from your security bond. A security bond of 200 euros is required to be paid at the time of your final balance. This will be refunded by the owners within 15 days of your departure date. The swimming pool heating is included during June to Sept. Check for actual dates.

Once you have paid your reservation deposit of 25% cancellation of the booking will be subject to a penalty charge of 25% of the agreed rental rate. If we manage to re-book these dates, we will refund you 20% of the penalty charge but a 5% charge will remain for administration charges.

If you cancel after paying your final balance a refund cannot be issued unless the cancelled dates can be re booked with another client. If you have paid your security bond, this will be returned by the owners. As an alternative option, it is also possible if you have to cancel your booked dates to re book the rental period for another date.

All cancellation decisions are at the discretion of the owners.
