About Graham and Lorraine Lay
Hi! We're Graham and Lorraine Lay and we fulfilled a lifelong dream to move to Cornwall when we bought Tredarrup Holiday Cottages near the coast of North Cornwall in January 2017. Born and brought up in London, we moved to rural Wiltshire in 1990 to bring up our children until we could finally retire from our jobs and move to the West Country. We get great personal satisfaction from always providing our guests with a superb experience, ensuring they go home with terrific memories of their time in Cornwall.

Why Graham and Lorraine Lay chose Michaelstow
We've always dreamed of living in Cornwall, having holidayed here as children ourselves and enjoyed countless family holidays with our own three children. Cornwall has its own unique identity, which it is rightly proud of, and you're never far from the sea and the stunning coastline. The north coast where we are situated is wild and rugged, rich in myth and legend, whilst the gentler south coast, popular with sailors and tourists, is also within very easy reach. Bodmin Moor in the centre of Cornwall is popular with walkers and is rich in ancient history - watch out for The Beast of Bodmin Moor!
What makes this Barn unique
After an extensive search we consider ourselves very lucky to have found Tredarrup. With stunning views across Cornwall, the property is 400 years old and unspoilt, with an abundance of original features and thick stone walls, which all contribute to it obtaining the highest possible star rating from VisitEngland. We fell in love immediately. The original conversions of this stunning Grade 2 Listed property were very well done and we have been able to build our own improvements to make these four unique cottages a luxurious, stylish and comfortable retreat for your holiday. Having stayed in countless self-catering properties ourselves over the last 30 years these are honestly the best cottages we have seen and we hope you'll feel the same!
