Welcome to my spacious (500sqft/50sqm) ground floor flat which is part of an original red brick Victorian townhouse in a residential part of West Kensington. With two well connected tube stations within 5 mins walk, all of London is really accessible

The flat, which has high ceiling throughout, consists of a light and airy double bedroom with double bed and comfortable therapeutic mattress. There is ample storage, an en-suite bathroom with a shower and bathtub, an additional separate guest toilet, a bright and cheery fully fitted kitchen which gives on to a spacious reception room which has a good sized double sofa bed and dining space. In addition there is a foldable baby cot for those traveling with a young child

TRANSPORT:

The flat is very close and equidistant to both Baron’s Court tube station (Piccadilly line, District and Circle line) and West Kensington tube station (District and Circle line), as well as all major bus routes meaning you can be in the centre of London (Oxford street, Piccadilly) within 20 mins.

The apartment is very close to Kensington High Street, Notting Hill, Knightsbridge and Chelsea. And is walking distance from the Kensington Olympia Exhibition Center and the Earls Court Exhibition Center - which can make it ideal for exhibition and events visitors.

- Heathrow: 35-45 min tube journey, depending on the terminal. 30-45 mins by cab depending on traffic

- Paddington (Heathrow Express): 20 min tube journey

- Kings Cross (Eurostar): 30 min tube journey.

- Victoria (Gatwick Express): 17 min tube journey

This is the perfect accommodation for those on business or for couples looking for a retreat from their daily explorations of the city.

FARMER'S MARKETS, FOOD & EATING OUT:

Packed with locally produced tasty English delights the farmer’s markets occur every Thursday in Hammersmith, and every Saturday in Notting Hill, South Kensington and Sloane Square (all reachable on local transport from the apartment). The famous portobello market is nearby too. There are two mini supermarkets within the same distance as well as a large Flagship Tesco Superstore. If you want to eat out there are plenty of popular Gastropubs and casual eateries nearby. Further afield (10-15 mins) there’s a fantastic and diverse selection of restaurants, pubs and bars - just ask me for more info as i have lives in and around the area all my life!

PARKS: Holland Park and Hyde Park are very close by (reachable either by a short bus or tube ride). And there's an enchanting Victorian cemetery a 5 min walk away, perfect for reading and relaxing on a warm sunny day. Also Brompton Cemetery (used in many film locations) is a 15 min walk away.

WALKS: Thames river with all it’s secret spots is a 20 minute walk away.

SHOPPING: Not far from the flat is High Street Kensington, the famous Kings Road, Notting Hill, Westbourne Grove and the very modern and vibrant Westfield shopping center. A little bit further is high end Knightsbridge, where you will find the famous department store Harrods and neighbouring Sloane Street - home to some of the world's finest name brand boutiques

GALLERIES, MUSEUMS & ATTRACTIONS:

The V&A is just 10 minutes away on the tube. Next door to it is the Natural History Museum and close by, in Hyde Park, is the Serpentine. The Saatchi Gallery is very close too, as well as the Royal Academy of Arts and the Tate Britain.

For TENNIS lovers, the exclusive Queens Club, which hosts the annual Stella Artois Championships is just a stone's throw away

Experience London like a local

We were quite comfortable in this rental for a party of 4.

It is in great location to two Tube stations. Although we experienced a heat wave during our stay. The fans provided kept us cool.

Many shops restaurants and stores close by. Very convenient by train from Heathrow. We were also allowed to leave our luggage at earlier time before check in time. Would recommend this rental.

Excellent Stay

Ashil was accommodating and helpful, agreeing to meet me at the apartment at 8:30 a.m. and check me in then, much earlier than the standard check-in time, since my flight arrived at 6. He also promptly responded to all my questions. Much appreciated.

The apartment was scrupulously clean, appeared as in the photos and description, and was comfortable and well equipped. There were plenty of towels and a great shower.

The upstairs occupants or their guests were noisy one night, but the apartment was otherwise quiet, happily well into the morning. I really liked not having to drag bags up or down any stairs.

I also liked the neighbourhood feel of South Kensington and the proximate location of a grocery store, ethnic restaurants and two pubs. Best was the location about 10 minutes away of underground stations for two of the most useful subway lines, one a short, direct ride to Heathrow.

Very nice

Good location, clean and tidy. Hosts were very helpful. Bed was a bit lumpy and the kitchen could have a few more items, ie cutting board, scissors. Lovely entertainment centre, and thank goodness for the fans!

Great place to stay!

We (three of us) were in for London 4 days, and this flat gave us convenient access to the city via the Baron Court Station. The owners were very helpful -- providing directions for getting to the flat and checking on us to make sure we had everything we needed. It was nice to have a great shower and room to spread out and relax at the end of a long day of sightseeing. Great little kitchen! I would recommend this flat.

Quiet, clean, and convenient!

Flat was clean and conveniently located to 2 tube stations for lines we used most frequently - Piccadilly and District. Neighborhood was quiet and felt very safe. It was also an easy walk to a SixT car rental office for when we left London for a couple days (less expensive than when you pick up at an airport lot). Owner responded very quickly and courteously to all inquiries - really enjoyed our stay!

Wonderful place to stay in London!

We love staying at the flat in West Kensington. So close to the tube, easy access to groceries and very comfortable and clean. It was nice having a washer and dryer, however, if you are coming from the US, you may not be accustomed to the small washer/dryer combos. Does very small loads and the dryer is inefficient - great for getting caught up with some essentials though. Ashil and Faisa were very accommodating and turned us on to one of the best Indian meals we'ver ever had. At a pub surprisingly, not far from the flat called Warwick Arms I think.

We only had 3 days, and would have been happy to stay longer!
