Peaceful, private, luxury 2 bedroom vacation home with panoramic sea views

Spacious centrally heated accommodation within a detached house set in .5 acre (2000m2) garden. Entered by a private doorway at the side of the house. On ground level there is a hallway leading to a kitchen/dining area with seating for four and a toilet/WC. On the first floor there is a lounge with a balcony facing over Muirfield Golf Course and the sea, 2 bedrooms and a shower room/toilet. One of the bedrooms has a sunny, south facing balcony. Outside: a patio with table and chairs leads to a lawned area. WiFi and Nintendo Wii games console.

Set in very large private garden with 5m high hedge and 2m gates screening house from street.

In Gullane there is a bakery, a delicatessen, a butcher, a newsagent, a pharmacy, a small Co-op supermarket, a doctor, a dentist, golf/sports shops, a post office, several gift shops, 3 pubs and 2 restaurants. There is a large Tesco supermarket, 5 miles away in North Berwick.

Things to do : Gullane beach is 5 minute walk away through the dunes. There are 2 castles to visit within a 5 mile radius. Boat trips can be taken from North Berwick around the Bass Rock. Edinburgh is 20 minutes away by train.

Alles in diesem Haus war perfekt. Einrichtung, Ausstattung, Umgebung.

Was für eine Aussicht und Ruhe. Besser kann man sich nicht erholen.

Ein super Standort für Golfer. Viele schöne Plätze in der näheren Umgebung.

Awesome Vacation Apartment for a Perfect Holiday!

Can't speak highly enough of our experiance renting this apartment in Gullane. We booked several months in advance but David was fantastic about keeping in touch, providing information about the area and answering questions we had about the trains, places to go and things to do. We traveled with our two small children (both under the age of four) and the apartment was a perfect layout for us and the extra amenities (large fenced/gated yard and wii) was just what we needed on the one day we decided to lay low from traveling and just relax at the apartment. After much debate on where exactly to spend our week vacation in Scotland, I am 110% satisfied with our choice to stay in Gullane and would do it all over again. It was the perfect location, just a 5 minute walk away from the Sea, less than 10 min drive to the train station and reasonable hour+ drive to St. Andrews and Stirling. Would recommend this property to anyone, two thumbs up for sure! Thanks David and Anne for a fabulous vacation... hope to be back again!

Great!!! Super Apartment, wonderful area

We had one of our BEST vacations here.

There is more than enough space to relax in the modern apartment. Big windows offer a wonderful view on the dunes and to the beach. You can sit down and find yourself in this modern and quite area. On the other hand the flat and the area offers more than enough activities to do.

Gullane in near to all attaraction in this part of Scotland.

This is really its money worth!

For us it is no question that we will come back and of course we will try to get this nice apartment again.

Immaculate apartment with beautiful views

More than lived up to our expectations.Very clean,luxury apartment which was well equipped for a comfortable holiday. Owners were very welcoming and helpful.Well appointed property with amazing views.Short distance from beautiful beaches,golf courses and old seaside town of North Berwick, where our children were sailing.

Short walk to local shops and short train journey into Edinburgh from Drem and North Berwick, which we enjoyed. We would love to return!

The apartment is 2 minutes away from the path through the sand dunes that leads to the award winning beach. From there, it is possible to walk along the coast to North Berwick or alternatively through the nature reserve to Aberlady. A bus service runs back to Gullane from North Berwick and Aberlady. Gullane Village has some two highly rated restaurants and two traditional pubs as well as a fish and chip shop. There are 5 golf courses in Gullane and many others in the near vicinity. The seaside town of North Berwick is 5 miles away and has a bustling high street and many restaurants, including Thai, Indian and Italian. East Lothian has many quiet backroads that are ideal for cycling. Central Edinburgh is 35 minutes by car, alternatively by train from Drem (10 minutes to Drem by car, then 20 minutes by train) or by bus from Gullane (around 1 hour). In August, visits to the Edinburgh Festival are highly recommended.

Golf: East Lothian is possibly the best area for golf in Scotland. In Gullane there is Muirfield, Gullane 1, 2, 3 and Luftness. Within 2 miles there is Archerfield and Renaissance. Nearby is North Berwick.
