A gorgeous, spacious, light, airy, stylish, 4 bed Edwardian house situated on a quiet street, in a conservation area in Sydenham. Set in South East London, we are close to Crystal Palace, Dulwich and Peckham, with direct rail links to Shoreditch High Street. Are you looking for a place to stay to relax after a long day in London? Sydenham offers you that, with all the local amenities, parks and great rail links into central London. Perfect to experience all aspects of a trip to London.

This is a spacious, bright and beautifully furnished, family friendly, 4-bedroom Edwardian house situated on a quiet street in Sydenham. If you're coming to London to party this isn't the place for you, but it is a wonderful place to chill out, enjoy the city and be close to some of the most exciting creative areas in London. The house is close to buses and the Overground train, and it's super easy to get to central London or the East End and safe to get home at night.

The house is family friendly, situated in the Thorpes Estate, a lovely, quiet, conservation area in South East London, with fantastic transport links into South, Central and East London. The house has it's own private access , has a small private front garden and a large rear garden.

The Living room is large, spacious, light and airy with bi-fold doors that lead into a separate, cosy dining room. With large, super comfortable sofa, reclined leather chair and footstool, a gas open fire. A Samsung Smart TV with entertainment options and Apple TV. A perfect place to relax.

The rear Dining room features a working open fire and a large 6 seater dining table and a super large double seater "love chair". At the rear, the doors that open out directly into the private garden, with outside dining, seating areas and a large gas barbecue.

The fully fitted kitchen is fully equipped with appliances, utensils etc and incorporates an integrated oven, gas hob, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, nespresso machine, nutri bullet, food processor etc and also features a smaller diningtable area. Adjoining the kitchen is a laundry room and includes a washing machine, table dryer, microwave, ironing board and iron, as well as a downstairs toilet

The large entrance and hallway leads upstairs to 3 very comfortable double and twin bedrooms upstairs and a studio/office room. Bright and comfortable with King Size, Double and Twin beds, including luxurious french bed linens.

The newly fitted bathroom features a bathtub and shower, handbasin, radiator/towel warmer and built in cupboard, with hand painted moroccan floor tiles. There is constant instant hot water, from a combination boiler. Towels are provided. There is a separate toilet room.

The house has been recently refurbished to a high standard, maintaining and renovating many original features, with high ceilings and all modern amenities.

The large rear private garden is private is beautifully lawned,with patio dining area, a coffee table area and a large 4 burner gas barbecue. As a real sun trap and a perfect spot to catch a few rays and relax.

• Sitting Room: 48 inch Samsung Smart TV with Virgin Media Cable service, Apple TV, Netflix and Amazon Prime video.

The house is a smoke free zone, but you are welcome to smoke in the garden. There are smoke alarms throughout the house, a Carbon Monoxide alarm. A first aid kit and fire extinguisher are provided in the kitchen.

Sydenham is a charming, leafy, quiet residential enclave within South East London. Sydenham Road is within walking distance from there house and features, all the things you need from a local high street with cafes, coffee shops, restaurants, pubs, greengrocers, butchers, fish mongers, bakery, organic health food stores, chemist, dry cleaners etc etc, as well as several small supermarkets. Crystal Palace is a 10 min car/bus ride. Dulwich Village, East Dulwich and Forest Hill are only 15 mins by car/taxi. Brixton, Herne Hill are 15 mins away by train. All have vibrant restaurant and bar scenes, as well as shops and supermarkets. Up and coming and under cool Peckham is also are also within easy reach via car/taxi in around 20 mins. Shoreditch High Street is 30 mins direct on the Overground train. It is the perfect base for exploring London.

At the top of the road is Mayow Park, which is a fantastic family park with a fantastic cafe "Brown & Green" which is perfect for lunches & brunches, with excellent coffees and cakes as well as a full lunch offering. The park also features woodland areas, formal gardens, an outdoor gym, children’s playgrounds, tennis courts, football and cricket pitches and large open areas. It’s a great place to walk, run, relax and explore.

The house is close to buses and trains. A number of buses go from Sydenham Road and Sydenham Train Station is within 10 minutes walk and Penge East is a 15 minute walk, and both offer fast links into Central London.

I will be there to greet you and show you around when you first arrive. After that the house is yours with minimal interaction until you check out, unless you need me for any reason or unless we have arranged a mid-stay cleaning. You will have complete privacy you will have a set of keys to come and go as you please and I'll always be available to answer your call or text.
