The property is located in a quiet residential area, only a 10 minute walk or a couple of minutes drive from the village of Aviemore. The town of Aviemore itself has a number of restaurants, bars, café’s and shops and there is a supermarket in the town centre for buying groceries for your stay or for home delivery if you prefer.
The location of the property is ideal for hill walking and snow sports in the Cairngorms, Loch Morlich water sports, quad biking around Rothiemurchus Estate, pony trekking, and clay pigeon shooting are all on hand for those seeking an active holiday. For a more leisurely getaway there are a number of activities which include osprey watching at Loch Garten, experiencing the Speyside Steam Railway, exploring the Whisky trails, visiting the Landmark forest theme park in Carrbridge, or the Highland Wildlife Park in Kincraig.
Flat 9 is also ideal for exploring the Inverness and Moray areas, with Loch Ness, Cawdor Castle, a string of distilleries and lovely beaches, are easy day trips from Aviemore.
