Why Andy and Liz chose Nefyn
Fernlea is quirky and full of character, it also has a lovely pebbled garden for dining al fresco on a summers eve.

Disappointing! Fortunately near to a beautiful coast
This holiday home is tired and in need of serious updating. At best we could say it is conveniently situated on the beautiful north coast of the Llynn peninsula. In reality it is not as described; the garden described as ‘lovely pebbled area perfect for dining al fresco on a summers evening ‘ was in fact littered with bins containing garden debris, there was an overhanging tree in need of serious pruning and it didn’t even have any chairs! Towels and tea towels provided were old and discoloured, there is a disused attic ( not included in the let ) but not closed off and full of dirty clutter. The bathroom is old, the bath doesn’t drain well and the shower is limited because of a sloping ceiling. There is a damp smell downstairs...
A Comfortable Cozy Home in a Sweet town.
My husband and I enjoyed our stay in Nefyn. The home was very comfortable with a lovely, well equipped kitchen and a very comfortable bed. This was important as I was unfortunately laid up for a few days during out stay. Nefyn and the surrounding area/peninsula is very beautiful with lots of walks, castles, prehistoric sites and other places of interest. The cottage is just around the corner from the Maritime Museum which is well worth a visit. We hope to be back one day to continue exploring this beautiful part of the world.
Property is in a good location for the whole of the llyn peninsula. Kitchen is well equipped. The storage heater in the bathroom doesn't work so as previous reviewer said bathroom bit chilly. 2 storage heaters in the front room don't work either. However bedrooms got lovely and warm.
Great to have access to tumble dryer too.
all heaters work but people don't always understand them-they work on the principle of taking heat in at night and releasing it during the day-we do have an electric fan and radiator and gas heater(calor) which can heat the house quickly
A cosy home from home
Fearnlea is a lovely cosy house with a big squashy sofa and comfy beds. The kitchen has everything you need and the garden is a little suntrap. The only negative was that the bathroom was cold (the wet Welsh weather didnt help!) and the shower was very low due to the sloping ceiling (better off taking baths) but I would still recommend this holiday home and would happily stay again.
clean and comfortable.
Lovely coastal walks from the village.
