This apartment was completely refurbished in 2011 to provide a new kitchen, bathroom and terrace. There is air conditioning throughout the apartment, serviced by a coin meter, so you only pay for it if you want to. The whole apartment has just been repainted and has good quality cutlery, crockery, linen, etc..There is a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and fridge freezer. The terrace has been relaid and there is modern terrace furniture including 2 sunloungers and a gas Barbeque. The apartment, is spacious and well equipped with magnificent views overlooking the sea and Burriana Beach from the master bedroom, living room and the south facing terrace. The Capistrano Playa complex is well-maintained & includes two swimming pools, a restaurant, bar, ornamental lake and tropical gardens. It is located within a short walk of Nerja centre, with the palm-lined promenade of the Balcon de Europa, many excellent restaurants and cafes. From the apartment, there are steps down to Burriana Beach below the apartment. There is a lift to the apartment which makes access from the street very easy (less than 20 steps up and down). Wifi is free. There are 2 sets of golf clubs in the apartment should you wish to play golf. There are three golf clubs within 25 minutes. Baviera Golf is about 15 minutes west of Nerja, and is a very good layout. They often have deals for 2 people including a buggy. Further west is Anoreta Golf, also a good layout but slightly more difficult. Again, they do good value deals for 2 with a buggy, especially if booked online. On the beach at Motrils there is a less exciting golf course, it a bit flat and uninteresting. You will need to bring shoes, balls and tees etc but feel free to use the clubs.
Nerja: Nerja is on the Mediterranean coast some 50 kilometres from Málaga on the N340 coastal highway, in a hire car it should take less than one hour from the airport on a modern motorway. Once a sleepy fishing village, the town now has a population of over 22,000. Nerja boasts 16 kilometres of beaches with powdery sand and sparkling clear water. All major sports are available here, including water skiing, scuba diving and sailing, tennis and there is a golf course (Burriana Golf) less than 15 minutes away. The town is flanked to the east by the beautiful, dramatic, mountain range, Sierra Almijara. The old quarter of the town is still virtually unchanged with narrow, winding streets, whitewashed houses with wrought iron terraces overflowing with geraniums, on which a canary can sometimes be heard singing
We are a family of four. We have been coming to Nerja for many years and in 2011, we decided to buy our own apartment - wish we had waited a year when prices were at rock bottom! When we viewed the apartment we were on holiday and viewed it a bit through rose-tinted glasses. It was only when we returned in February once we had actually bought it that we realised that it needed total refurbishment so we bit the bullet and did it all at once; new kitchen, bathroom, terrace and furniture. Looking back this was definitely the right thing to do as results speak for themselves. We have never wanted to go and stay on holiday anywhere that is less comfortable than our own home and we don't think that our guests should have to put up with poor quality furnishings and electrical goods. So, we have fitted the kitchen out with lots of crockery, mixing bowls and utensils etc. We like to cook good local Spanish produce and hope you will too.

We looked at several properties on Capistrano Play but this was far and away the best. It sits in the middle of the development overlooking the pond with great views of the Mediterranean. In addition, unlike most apartments in Capistrano Playa, the living area is separated from the bedrooms which is much nicer. Also, the apartment sits in the middle of the development and is more like a townhouse than an apartment. It has a terrific terrace which get the sun all day. Being on the top floor means you get no noise from above and very little noise from below. Our charming Dutch neighbours who live below generally only use their apartment in the winter so we have a lot of privacy.
We originally only had air-conditioning in the bedrooms but this winter we have installed an additional unit in the living room. This is reverse cycle so you can use it for heating in the winter as well as cooling in the summer.
We have fibre optic superfast (for Spain!) broadband, its prety robust and reasnavly fast.
We have cable tv with the following Channels

This apartment was very well equipped with everything you could possibly need for a good holiday. The beds are really comfortable for a good nights sleep. The balcony was lovely to relax on and has stunning views. The owner was very helpful before our departure with advice on travel and any other questions we had. Overall the apartment was like home from home but better. There is a local bus stop in the urbinisation which takes you into nerja town centre for only one euro. We travelled by bus from malaga airport to malaga and then from malaga bus station to nerja town which in total cost us nine euro each, tnen we took a taxi to our apartment for five euro. It was simple and cheap to travel this way and staff at bus station are very helpful. I would definately reccommend this apartment to all my friends and family and hope to be able to return to it in the near future.

Having spent the last five years holidaying in Capistrano Playa we were lucky enough to find John's apartment two years ago. This is one of the best locations at Capistrano, a lovely apartment with everything you need - gas bbq - brilliant for al fresco dining whilst enjoying the fantastic view across Capistrano and to the beach and sea beyond, dishwasher and washing machine - both a must! Comfortable bed, modern and fresh decor, wifi. What's not to like! We are already in the process of booking for next year before the rush. John is amiable and helpful throughout the booking process and it's a pleasure to deal with him. We love Burriana, we love Capistrano Playa and finding Appt 708 has just made our holidays there even more enjoyable.
We had a fantastic two week holiday at this apartment. It has fabulous views from the large balcony. The apartment is well maintained and very well equipped. It very much felt like home from home. Would definitely go back and would recommend a stay. The beach has lots of lovely restaurants, would suggest the Playa & Sol for food and the best cocktails on burriana beach. Nerja town centre is definitely worth a visit at night, lots of restaurants, bars and lovely jewellery shops. On booking a non-refundable 25% deposit is required to secure the apartment, with the balance due 4 weeks prior to arrival. If the booking is cancelled less than 4 weeks before arrival the cancellation fee is 50% of total cost, with half of this being refunded if the apartment is re-let. .
